Solve This Variation Question by Xflint(op):
P varies directly as Q2 and inversely as _/R. When Q=8 and R=25,P=16. Find P when Q=5 and R=9.

P = KQ2/root R.
Where K = proportionality constant.
K = P(root R)/Q2
= 16(root 25)/82
= (16*5)/64
= 5/4

When Q = 5, R = 9,

P = (5/4)*52/root 9
= (5/4 * 25)/3
= (125/4)/3
= 125/12

P=10.4

P varies directly as Q square and inversely as 1 all over root R. *sorry couldnt write them cos i dont have any of those signs*
P=kQ square/ Square root of R

16= k*8 square/ square root 25

16= 8 square* k/5

16=64k/5

80=64k

64k=80

K=80/64
=1.25

Find P when Q=5 and R= 9

P= kQ square/ squareroot R

1.25*5 square/ squareroot of 9

P = 31.35/3
P=10.42

Edit: Went thru ur profile. As a math lover myself, I must say u're doing a great job. Been wanting 2 do sth like that but laziness no gree me.
