the road linking Ibadan and Oyo constructed in 1906 is recorded to be the first motorable road ever constructed in Nigeria. However, a bridge that links the road to a commercial centre (Ojoo) at Abatakan in Ibadan has turned to be a menace. All efforts to make a pedestrian bridge for people to pass has been futile due to the volume of water flowing.
