A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from accepting list of candidates for the governorship elections in Edo and Ondo from other leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) except form the Ali Modu Sheriff-led National Working Committee (NWC).


Justice Okon Abang in a ruling also granted an order of interlocutory injunction restraining INEC, the PDP and their agents from dealing with or according any facility required by law (regarding the gubernatorial elections to be conducted by INEC in Edo and Ondo states) to any other persons or group other than the Sheriff, Prof. Wale Oladipo and Fatai Adeyanju -led NWC of the party

It is now i believe the crisis in PDP is externally remote-controlled so that they won‘t be able to present candidates in the forthcoming elections in Edo and Ondo.

The ruling party in Abuja having failed woefully knows it might be rejected by the people in these two states. This is bad for our democracy because even the crooked OBJ didnt do this to the opposition

And it was surely APC that sacked him illegally at the PH convention when he had already stopped it.

Hadn't been he was a Northerner or from the Southwest, I know what most of you would be saying by now. Is he doing his what his slave-master asked him to do again? Make una dey cry sha!!!

Ize-Iyamu is dead as far as September 10th Election is concerned in Edo State. We can't vote a man who supervised the looting and milking of Edo treasury for 8yrs as our Governor. If that can be done in your region, we the Edolites don't do that! He's a known thief who wouldn't be allowed to even at least peep at the Osadebey Avenue!
