If the chief justice of the state is hidden & could not perform his or her duty due conspiracy,he should be retired forthwith for being partisan. The moment the court has decided everybody must comply to ensure the rule of law is in force. Ikpeazu must leave & approach court .He should not turn himself to a law breaker

iflywithbuhari:
Ogah will be sworn in as the governor of Abia state next week, whether Ikpeazu and Atiku like it or not
I concur .....H/E Samspson U Ogah
Executive governor of Abia state
BTW.....what's Atiku's take on this??

INEC is just the problem here. Ikpeazu has appeal right which he has exercised. INEC should not have given Ogar a return certificate until the case is fully concluded. This is confusion. As it is now my allegiance and support goes to Ikpeazu.

God, let Ikpeazu be assisted and see him through this challenging time in Jesus name. Amen.

So when has the FHC become the highest court in Nigeria?
Businessideas:
Everything Ikpeazu does after the pronouncement by Justice Abang and issuance of the certificate of return is an illegality. By now, the Speaker of the state should be the Acting Governor and should be the one to handover to Ogah.

ogah is too weak for Abia state, He lacks the unique leadership qualities that Alex Otti possesses, honestly, there should be a re-run

Hedonistically:
And is this view you expressed here not your own opinion? What makes you think that your opinion - coming from an unknown and unrecognised entity like you - should be taken more seriously than the opinion of an authority like Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) whose specialisation is constitutional law for that matter?? You people can be very funny.
We are all entitled to our opinions..........Other lawyers have countered Olisa's opinions too. That's why it is an opinion....
The law has Loophole's... Every law has to be constitutional.. The constitution gives you the right to appeal. If the High court was the final authority on the issue. He wud have left office.
But there is the Appeal court, even the supreme Court.
Even a toddler knows dis.
Its common sense

FYI-And am not you people...

Olisa Agbakoba is a maritime lawyer and not a constitutional lawyer!!The NBA president opinion on the matter is the right one.

You lie:

No court will deprive a judgment creditor the fruits of his Labour.

Meaning that if Ikpeazu thinks he will get a stay on monday as temporary relief then he should think again.

Like T.S Ogundaini. ESQ said

Normally, no court will want to grant a stay of execution as a matter of course and that is why an applicant seeking this discretion of the court in his favour must therefore show special or exceptional circumstances why the court must deprive a successful litigant, the fruits of his success---See the following cases SPDC v. Arlio-Joe (Nig.) Ltd. (2003) 1 NWLR pt 845 pg 19, Dada v. I.T.L (2005) 11 NWLR pt.936 pg 293

Secondly, A successful litigant (Ogah) is entitled to enjoy the benefits and reap the fruits of his judgment and nothing ordinarily should be done to obstruct this right. In the words of Niki Tobi , JCA (as he then was) in Lijadu v. Lijadu (1991) 1 NWLR (Pt. 169) 627 at 644, nothing should be done to make the victorious party leave the court in "victory" without victory.
