whats freaking so special about the phone that is making everyone crazy? or should i say they are just "tecno" markerters doing what they do best. the phone is just OverHyped.

It will fade off within few months. That's why tecno models dont last long. I really respect Sony, Samsung, Apple etc.

These above mentioned "senior" companies dont make noise yet they sell more than the so called tecno.

It is not just the tecno c9, it is tecno phones in general. About a month ago it was tecno L7, 2 months ago it was all about boom j8, before then it was w4. Tecno release new phone almost on a monthly basis.. very soon now we no go hear word again when they release phantom 6.

But in all honesty the camon c9 is a great phone, I give kudos to tecno for including a full HD 1080p display instead of the regular 720p on all their phones (except phantom 5). Also the camera is dope, arguably one of the phones below 70k with the best selfie camera. Oh it even has an iris scanner. Just that the hype is too much.

This shows how popular TECNO phones has become in Nigeria recently. Unlike before, they now release good and affordable phones almost on monthly basis. I think they are progressing well and making other brands to sit up.
So OP, don't be an enemy of progress. Learn to give Kudos to those that deserve it.

The reason Tecno is on top of the Nigerian smartphone market today is as a result of Good Marketing, they have a superb marketing Dept, whenever they release a new device whether good or rubbish, the amount of hype you experience online, on TV, Radio, or just walking down the street is crazy, it gets tiring after a while.

D only review iv seen is a blogger that borrowed the phone to do review then returned it back, she doesn't even know d core feature of the phone.

Tecno is not just thinking, they should stop making expensive phones, go online and see how ppl wanna sell their phantom 5 and J8, I just tire for them

The only spectacular tin was it's finger print, even d 3gb ram was a "lie lie" spec

so can you buy that or any chinese oem that operate only in africa at that price. That price that get me samsung note 4 or lg4 on craigslist

Oga, buy on Craigslist at ur own risk. 50k is just $150 and I don't think u can get note 4 or lg g4 for $150 on Craigslist unless u wanna get scammed.

add few bucks and get something worth it which you can resell with good fortune. 70k phone from tecno will loose value come two months time when manufacturers will start updating their products to android N. Tecno will just manufacture a new device running it and forget the old ones and you end up selling it for like 50k

I started liking tecno brand when they released boom j7. i think they have been improving since then.
