Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested a former gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyiola Omisore. Omisore was picked up earlier this morning in Abuja and has since been in the custody of the anti-graft agencies facing interrogation for his role in the election funding fraud.

EFCC sources told SaharaReporters that the Senator received over N1.3billion from funds pilfered from the office of the National Security Adviser to fund and rig Governor Ayodele Fayose into office in 2014.

There is nothing political about people dipping their filthy and corrupt hands into the national purse. A thief must return whatever they stole irrespective of their party affiliation. It's a pity average Nigerian sees this fight against corruption as one sided. The truth is there is no difference between PDP and APC. it's still the same set of people changing to any of the party that serves their interest.
Omisore was the one who registered the AD party which later changed to ACN.
Some APC people are eating yams now under PMB and they will be deyamed under a kowa party president.

If Omisore is not in prison for this accusation by 2018, he will emerge as Labour Party governorship aspirant in 2018.
Let the APC led federal government jail everyone who stole money under PDP; another party will soon take over centre that will send PMB to Kuje if he steals our money.

PMB has his priorities. He can choose to pursue Haliburton case if he wants. Yaradua and GEJ didn't.
