kcnwaigbo:Which defeat...... I laugh Just as I replied you yst on this same issue let me repeat my self again while you wait for tomorrow to do the magic for you. No court will deprive a judgment creditor the fruits of his Labour. Meaning that if Ikpeazu thinks he will get a stay on monday as temporary relief then he should think again. Like T.S Ogundaini. ESQ said Normally, no court will want to grant a stay of execution as a matter of course and that is why an applicant seeking this discretion of the court in his favour must therefore show special or exceptional circumstances why the court must deprive a successful litigant, the fruits of his success---See the following cases SPDC v. Arlio-Joe (Nig.) Ltd. (2003) 1 NWLR pt 845 pg 19, Dada v. I.T.L (2005) 11 NWLR pt.936 pg 293 Secondly, A successful litigant (Ogah) is entitled to enjoy the benefits and reap the fruits of his judgment and nothing ordinarily should be done to obstruct this right. In the words of Niki Tobi , JCA (as he then was) in Lijadu v. Lijadu (1991) 1 NWLR (Pt. 169) 627 at 644, nothing should be done to make the victorious party leave the court in "victory" without victory. This case is very bad it doesn't look good at all. If not the Governor would have involved the man who defended him at the tribunal ie Chief Wole Olanikpekun. See, A lot of legal blunders were committed on the Governor's part. Its only the grace of God that can save Ikpeazu now cos Grace can undo what the power of law cannot. https://www.nairaland.com/3201625/falana-agbakoba-ikpeazu-no-longer/6#47158097

kahal29:The Vanguardngr article you quoted said "the parties involved should wait for the decisions of the Courts" (the emphasis is on the plural Courts) The above explanation is why the security details of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu have never been withdrawn and from his point of view both Appeal Court and Supreme Court need to make judgement on this particular case to set a precedence since the Electoral Act that enable Amaechi became Governor has been amended in 2010. |

CJERRYEMILEX:With all these ur testbook,it shows u're d one wu is still getting it wrong.INEC has done no wrong but simply obey court order. This is not an election case but forgery/fraud case.Ikpeazu ab initio was not meant to contest at all,so as far as dat 2015 election was concern,Ikpeazu was not PDP candidate and should not in anyway benefit from d election.Dia4,he should automatically vacate dat sit bcs it's a stolen sit and if he feels he is qualified, should approach court of appeal to prove his case.Na forgery case no be election rigging or any other electoral malpractice. In a sane society,Ikpeazu will be attending court from Kuje prison. |

MadamExcellency:If the incumbent had not been proactive enough they would have smuggled their. Cohort into government through the backdoor. See whatever happens to democracy on a terrible note is the fault of apc and Nigeria s will never forgive them. |

Sorry to say, you are so tribalistic and controversial at the same time. What do you intend these your statements should achieve? And still, people like you will clamour for one Nigeria. Watch your mouth dear, this but a social media. If you are facing one of them you won't have the gut to say what you're saying. #just a piece of advice though TheNewIbadan: |
