A member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Adamu Kwanate (APC, Nassarawo-Binyeri), slumped and died Wednesday after attending an election campaign rally.

The legislator was said to have collapsed at a political meeting.

This was five days after the member representing Mubi South in the house, Abdurrahman Abubakar ,died in Yola.

The Public Relations Officer of the house, Yahaya Daji , yesterday confirmed Kwanate’s death to our correspondent. He said the lawmaker was rushed to a hospital in Yola where he later died.

He said Kwanate had been battling an undisclosed health problem before his death.

He described the deceased as a hardworking legislator who enjoyed a cordial relationship with his colleagues and the staff of the house.

MY SUGGESTION TO 2016 N-POWER BENEFICIARIES. I applied for N-power in 2016 but i was not taken because i did not take their test then. At moment i know many 2016 N-power beneficiaries are panicking because they do not know what will happen any moment from now. My suggetion is that, gather yourselves and send congratulatory message to president Buhari and Osinbanjo on TV and newspapers, pictorially show classrooms and pupils where you carry out your primary assignment on Tv and newspaper, write an essay or article expressing your feelings and dangers of sending you to the street in search of job after this two years, passionately and politely appeal to the president and the good people of Nigeria to consider your plight. Act fast and you will see the result. Buhari is not on this forum to read your post but he will see your write up on newspaper and your effort on television. Beg him to permanent you on mass media.
