Maybe I'm speaking for myself cos I used to like computers before venturing into IT but I doubt be needs elementary science for it. Depends on the line he wants to go though

Thank you bellong.
I was thinking in the direction of PR too but I got confused at a long the line.

Here is my issue, I studied accounting at the University but am currently working in the banking industry as a sales person. If am to apply for the PR under which CSOL /SOL (general accountant or marketing specialist) am I to apply and which assessing body will assess my documents.

You can apply under any of the two.

How much are you planning to pay for school fees?

you're paying for a PhD?

I guess he's only paying for OSHC and not tuition. I would be surprised if any PhD student is paying their tuition with their own personal money.

Accommodation in Sydney is quite pricey, flatshare is the in thing. You can google it to learn more. I don't like campus accommodation cos it's too pricey and you get to share a room with other people, I can't share a room. Prefer flatshare. And staying on campus can restrict your social life cos you'll be meeting mostly students.

Depends on the Kinda accommodation you looking at on campus tho.
Have you tried factoring in T.P to and fro school, bills and all that?, are accommodation off-campus really cheaper?. How far have you gone with the flatshare waka?

make u no laugh me, I'm heading to Newcastle university... but mehnnn their campuses are plenty.. all scattered from Sydney to Newcastle city from Newcastle city to Newcastle precinct from there to Singapore then to one other name like that...all the same..my flight will land in Sydney. maybe I have to head straight to the school to determine my base...have you gotten your grant?

Just a little advice for you:-

Carry ur load and base in Sydney. Yes UoN has campuses in Sydney, Ourimbah, Callaghan n Newcastle city precinct! If your chosen program has core courses in Sydney just stay in Sydney n don't come to Newcastle. Otherwise if you want to base in Newcastle, bring your drivers license (naija license) it's a must! Set aside 800 -1600$ to get a car! If not, you will struggle trying to get a job here, trust me, you will struggle! This is not a case of people with different luck or that you don't need to get a car, you got God n hustle skills! Big NO! Hell NO! Guys here hv stayed up to 6 months without getting a job, some hv been forced to move to Sydney (where you can get jobs easily) some have had to travel outside Newcastle everyday to work! The only jobs you can find here r cleaning jobs, retail replenish n age care! All of which you need a car! As long as you r on a student visa, don't come to Newcastle.

However if you don't want to take my advice n u still want to come to Newcastle, buy plenty tissue papers and jackets! You will cry so you need tissue to wipe ur tears, then the jacket is for the cold, you know, it's winter so you will need to cover your body while waiting at the bus stop for public transport that don't arrive according to schedule.

Overall, Newcastle is a friendly city with great multicultural people! Downside: getting a job, n transportation.
