I just updated my whatsapp and this is what pop up on my screen

So sorry but it's true. Whatsapp is even extending it to other phones like java, Symbian (Nokia) ,android below 2.2. So it's your choice, it's either you join the winning train or Opt for other social apps. I am optimistic that facebook would follow suit soon

According to what they said, there are some features they want to implement in the future that BlackBerrys, Android 2.2 and lower, Symbian, Windows Phone 7.1 and lower won't be able to support.

I think it has also been extended to nokia java phones also. I saw the same message on my neighbour's new nokia C3 phone this afternoon and I felt so sorry for her simply because she bought the phone for no reason but whatsapp and to think that she would only.have access to whatsapp for.only six month is not funny plus d fact that she is not a smart phone fan.
