I know that the Redmi will have a better battery life, I never said the battery on X5 is better, everything depends on what is more important to him...
Op if you want better speed, performance and frequent software updates go for X5, if you want better battery and IR blaster go for Redmi 7

Depends on how careful a person is.
The difference in price between both is about 18k, i don't think a warranty and support for GLO and MTN 4G is worth the extra cash.
It all boils down to his choice and the amount he is willing to spend, my opinion though.

Try the spark 3,its a new device and promises so many amazing features
