Tokety7:Oh really? Which due process did Lugard follow to make you a Nigerian? Instead you guys from the West to admit that you have no fight in you, which is why you people have never fought for anything in Nigeria, you guys will just look for every excuse to be the only ones in Nigeria to do nothing but talk while others are acting. There is no doubt about what the OP said about you people being the weakest link, only can talk but never can act. |

[s] attackgat:[/s] Foolish talk. The due process at the time of Lord lugard was the will of the Crown in UK. The due process now is for ur representatives to table ur request on the floor of the NASS. Anything apart from that is shear Bunkum. Ipob nonentities will continue to be slaughtered for nothing by the Nigerian forces for disturbing public peace. |

attacker321:I've heard this sort of nonsense before usually spoken by political illiterates who's opinions and only facts are dictated by lazy and dishonest journalists. The Yoruba gave the South South a great victory with many votes dedicated to Jonathan in 2011 and that love affair was killed by PDP very quickly and all bridges burnt while at it. Some of us remember the lagos protests during oil subsidy and Stella Oduah, we remeber GEJ during presidential chat saying the words “i don't care” , we remember how Sambo went to kaduna to incite hatred against the APC because it has a powerful SW presence within the leadership , what he did say about Pastor Osinbajo and Tinunu planning to kill Buhari and cease power. Some of us have good memory. Let me take you back in time to the forming of the new government post-independence when Zik had the option of forming allegiance with Awolowo but choose not to. Or do you want to go back in time to 1993 when MKO Abiola presidential election victory was scuttled by some SE entities who were used by IBB As remember the million man March and the folks who got involved The Yoruba are much too smart to be hoodwinked by the other southern ethnicities thrice |
| Re: Yoruba Is The Weak Link In The South by attackgat: 2:36pm On Jul 06, 2016 |
Tokety7:Of course! Lord Lugard came said you will a Nigerian, you said 'Yes Sir!' Ojukwu came and declared his people free and fought 3 years to keep it, you who dont have the courage to ever fight for your own independent Homeland, said "that man is a fool for fighting instead of accepting Northern slavery like us!' The North came and too over Lagos and ran Nigeria into ground for 30 years, you guys said 'yes sir!' Anything supports independent minded thinking has been jettisoned by you people. Even Britain that made you a Nigerian did not need any Scottish representatives to come foward before they granted Scotland a referendum. It is you who they gave the name 'Nigerian' who is looking for representatives. It is clear why you guys are the weakest link, the people in the SE/SS can think beyond 'one Nigeria', you guys are still in that mental trap which is why you will always be willing tool for the Northerners. |

Onijagidijagan:We don't need to prove anything. We have already fought the powers that be for 3 years. You on the other hand will never be able to fight anything, just 'Siddon Look' and follow the directives of your Northern masters because you are too scared to stand up and oppose them. |
| Re: Yoruba Is The Weak Link In The South by loopman: 3:53pm On Jul 06, 2016 |
attackgat:Shut the Fucck up! You didn't fight anything. You provoked the northerners and they started killing you all, you then ran off to your enclaves and they still chased you down there and killed over 3M of you flatinooos! Stop bragging about the darkest spot in your history as a tribe. Nnamdi Kanu will rot in jail like Ojukwu is rotting away in hell ![]() Deal with it fllatiee |

kettle84:It's a choice you can't predict from the onset. We have the chance to vote for or against buhari in 2019. that's democracy. the fact that it didn't go ur way no mean say Yoruba are weak. only 54% of UK voted for BREXIT. it doesn't make the other 46% call them weak and stupid... |
| Re: Yoruba Is The Weak Link In The South by Tokety7: 5:29pm On Jul 06, 2016 |
[s] attackgat:[/s] Bunkum. Again follow due process by asking ur representatives to table ur request at the NASS and stop boring me with much stupidity. |
| Re: Yoruba Is The Weak Link In The South by attackgat: 5:42pm On Jul 06, 2016 |
Tokety7:Before we do that, you have to go and fetch Lord Lugard and ask when and where we agreed to part of his colonial contraption called Nigeria. You are like someone who is asking that who ever wants to divorce you must go through the legal channel even though you never had a wedding in the first place. Laughable |

loopman:Oh we didn't fight? So the Nigerian/Biafran war was a made up story? Ahhh..... They must have told that it was fiction. They lied to you, it was a full fledged war and the Biafran soldiers actually gave a good account of themselves, they killed far more Nigerian Soldiers than the Nigerian did to them. Most of the 3 million were civilians. But don't you see the difference between being brave and being cowardly? As you said, we provoked them and we fought them for 3 years. You guys on the other hand, they came to Illorin, killed your Oba and installed an Emir, you guys did nothing. They moved down to Lagos in the 60's and held you guys ransome in your own land while they ran Nigeria into ground for 30 years. Then they got tired and now moved the capital up north. To thank you guys for all your effort at hosting them while they were in your land, they kidnapped MKO and snuffed the life out of him in detention. They provoked you guys many times but you were to scared to do anything. I would rather be us who did something than you guys that can never do anything except blow hot air and remain docile. |

Ask them to also release all the goodies, gift and benefit they got from the colonial masters also. Oponu, ur fathers were OK with it. Who the Ffuck are u? |

Tokety7:Brush up on your Nigerian history. Google the Ekumeku war, Bende war and Arochukwu wars. Maybe you might just realise that we fought Lugard on three fronts so as not to be part of your useless 'one Nigeria'. The same history tells us how you guys fell to pieces and surrendered almost as soon the British got off the boat in West Africa. Since then, you guys have totally surrendered to whoever came after the British, be it Igbo or Hausa. You guys are so weak, there isn't even a link any more. |
| Re: Yoruba Is The Weak Link In The South by Nowenuse: 11:05am On Jul 07, 2016 |
I am not a yoruba. And av sat down to see that igbos are actually the cause of all their problems. So they should stop blaming others as they are fond of. Igbo leaders never complained to the british during colonial period that they were not interested in a one Nigeria. Perhaps they tot that in the event of a one Nigeria, they would dominate the nation, but it backfired on them. Igbos should go and read the history of Indian independence, where Pakistani leaders like Muhammad al jinnah, cried to the british that his people (the muslims) cannot remain in a one India with the hindu majority due to fear of domination and conflicts and the British eventually ceded to their pleas and divided India into 2 nations, one for the muslims and another for the Hindus. |

yea I agree, most of the commentator here are only trying to defend the Yoruba tribe, if Jonathan had be elected into power and the northerner had gone ahead to carry out their threat those who will benefit will be the south.maybe we would have be called the republic of southern Nigeria. the proceeds from the sale of mineral resources would have been allocated between the three region which also produces oil. we have everything to make southern Nigeria great, I think the time is right to propel a united south nigeria. OPINION POLL:- If you are giving the mandate to name southern Nigeria, what name do u think u will be proud of,and that will be suitable for it to bear?. |
