hello house, please I am thinking about buying my first car and I am torn between 2005 corrolla and 2003 lexus rx300.what issues do they both have maintenance wise? also I heard that corrolalla maintance is much cheaper but I am leaning towards the rx300 cz it's an suv and the part of lagos I stay is always heavily flooded,dont want to buy a car dt wil now come and die in water. finally is there any other modern suv (not Honda pilot or acura mdx) that I can get for toks in the 1.5m -2m range. a. friend advise me to stop bothering and just buy spider wch also makes sense.waiting for responses from the gurus and those that have driven dis car before,help a brother out!

I drive a 03/04 corolla been using this car for 3years now its a perfect ride .. I cover a distance of 4hr 30mins with my AC on .. And the fuel does not go below half tank ..Full tank for a corolla is 13gallons that's abt 39.8 litres,the prts are also very cheap and any mechanic can easily fix things in the car..but instead of a rx300 why not go for a highlander of the same year..

Go for the RX if you can afford it and also afford maintenance. And also because of your road.

What is wrong with actual MDX cos I plan on buying that car
