A man who was traveling to Benue state for a burial -has been allegedly killed by a policeman after a confrontation at a checkpoint in Lagos. His son Ebonyi Ogbole who is in a grieving mood took to his Instagram page to share what happened. Read below;

"Mr francis Ebonyi Ogbole was travelling to Benue State for the burial of his junior sister, on his way to the Iddo park, Oyingbo, Lagos State, escorted by his children which makes four people in the car, they were stopped by stop-and-search policemen with metro police van registration number KSF-176 EE

The policeman requested for all the necessary papers which he presented, then he was entering his car then a policeman, Sergeant Matthew Oche with force number F/NO-372727, said no he cant leave now cause the back glass of his car is tinted.

Mr. Francis however told him that its was because its still early and dark, around 5:30a.m, that the glass is not tinted, but the policeman was looking for a way to extort money from him. Out of anger, the policeman pushed him and he fell, broke his head and died instantly."

Casala! D police don buy market wey him no go fit sell. From their names, they seem to be from thesame part of the country. Both Idomas I guess!

Until the police embraces militarisation, this may never end soon. On Wazobia FM today where they hosted a police chief, people were just reporting the various evil deeds of the police. And I wonder what their mission was again. To protect or to endanger. Their laws and conduct needs to be completely revamped.

I will support jungle justice for the police for taking an innocent man soul away just like that.crazy set of people.

So sad, human right abuses on the increase. I blamed the federal road safety corps for not doing enough by deploying enough staff on the road. Thereby prompting the police, navy, airforce, customs, prison, civil defence and red cross to ask for car particulars in our roads. If FRSC don't have any men to do the work let it recruit more officers and men or be scrapped.

Get a good lawyer with the available evidences. I think you have a good case against the Nigerian Police Force
