Ladycloud:I think you need to compare your statements to the original post. Your opinion is miles far from what the OP intended. Try to see things from the way they are and not what you wish to see. |

God bless Buhari. If ND people have suffered what NE suffered for one year, there'd have pursued the Sca(m)vengers in less than a week. |

I pray God averts this media war. The average Nigerian youth, comes to the Internet only to take a swipe at PMB. God have mercy on our souls. This hatred has eaten deeply into our people, The only thing they want is to point a finger @ someone else, even when they can't carve meaningful lives for themselves. I went to make a purchase in the market a few days back, the item I wanted to buy was everywhere, but the only one that matched my taste was own by an Hausa, immediately I bought it, an Igbo man approached me, and said I was a disgrace to them, that I should have patronized my fellow Igbo man. I was fumed, I cursed and they start ranting their Biafra must come shit. I realized that propaganda has caused severe damage to the brains of these folks. What is the way forward? We are in more mess than ever b4, Hatred has eaten deeply into our mind, I fear I might be lynched for defending one Nigeria. I have made enemies for myself, only because I called us One. Serious sensitisation and commissioning of projects in the perceived marginalized areas will be a panacea to this scourge. I am deeply troubled. The once beautiful Nairaland has turned to a warzone. When our lives are at stake, Politicians will be like "it is better them, than us" Youths be wise. We can start a campaign to promote a peaceful coexistence here on Nairaland. Here is what we do, Block all mischief makers, Ban the use of certain racial words. Delete volatile threads, and promote peace by all means you can. |

CHANGE from killing people in Borno to killing people in Agatu is not change.... CHANGE from one corrupt set of leaders to another set of corrupt leaders is not change Change from bad paying jobs, high prices of items to no jobs, scarce everything and empty promises... is not change Real change will come when people stop killing others because their religion tactically supports it or when leaders respect the law and start fighting corruption from their own house, camp and party before pillaging others. Also real change is people getting appointments based on merit and not tribe or religion. That is the change they campaigned with, not this fraud that we see everyday |
