Bishop David Oyedepo, has come under fire
from a section of Nigerians for making
a declaration that Nigeria is moving forward
despite the challenges facing the country.

Bishop David Oyedepo was alleged to have
threatened to open the gate of hell on those
opposing the former president Goodluck
Jonathan in the weeks leading up to the 2015
general elections.
The founder of the Living Faith Church (LFC),
reportedly made the declaration in a telecast to
the local and international assembly of the
church workers recently.

The bishop also said the emergence of private
tertiary institutions, championed by the
church, has helped to right moral codes in the
country’s educational system as well as help
to eradicate cultism and activism.
But it appears the comments of Oyedepo who
was close to the administration of Goodluck
Jonathan, has attracted the ire of some
Nigerians who have accused him of making
empty promises not backed by the bible.



Others attacked the bishop for running a
private university that many of his church
members cannot afford to send their kids to.

I have always admired people who are the best at what they do. Bishop Oyedepo represent my ideal successful Pastor. He proved that a good University is possible in Nigeria with the Convenant University.
Aside I rather have him bless Nigeria than otherwise
