How I wish there was really important, good news to be heard about this government especially coming out of the Presidency, something praise worthy, debatable, forward looking, progressive and not stumbling from one incident to another week after week. Why all the troubles everyday, why. Haba. There are some states having little resouces, funds to do much but you they conserve their energy too by keeping quiet, avoiding scandals and only reporting that which is good. The Federal government must borrow a leaf from those. If it knows all these appointmemts won't sit well with the public, it should stop publicising them with all the handover fanfare and just get to work.

Dele Momodu is fast loosing his esteemed regards and it won't be long before he sinks to the abyss of yesterday men.

To start with, there seems to be a similarity between the way Abacha packaged Buhari to power in 1983 and how Dele Momodu and his clique of Yesmen repackaged a "reformed" Buhari to Aso Rock in 2015. The nation was pranked into believing that a messiah had come only to quickly realise how gullible they were. In this regard, we do not need any clairvoyant to predict how Buhari's exit would be announced on or before May 29, 2019.

Secondly, instead of wailing like a child stiffened of coveted breast milk, Dele Momodu should bury his head in shame for fooling fellow citizens into investing their time and PVC in electing an over hyped Buhari in 2015. This clearly shows that the likes of Dele Momodu are nothing but mere empty barrels who shouldn't be taken serious any longer by patriotic Nigerians. It further accentuates the fact that Dele Momodu knew virtually nothing about the personality of Buhari, yet he led his army of praise singers in the buildup to the elections.

Dele Momodu, Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana, Omojuwa, et al are just a bunch of attention seekers with no signature of known ideology. They give the impression of knowing a lot about the Nigerian evolution but end up like common men on the street.

When Jonathan was in power, he appointed an Edo man as minister of Works. The Niger Delta was shortchanged in terms of road infrastructure. The Ogoni cleanup report was on his table, and he couldn't muster political will to do the needful. What we need is someone who can do the job. Period

1. This is no apologist piece for the President
2. It points out the process of decay that sets into every administration
3. He says this decay is a far more potent danger than federal balance. In his view what good is federal balance if it's output is mediocre?
4. He blames this on the existence of a class of political opportunists who infiltrate every government for their own ends
5. He submits that the sum total of such interference is to distance the President from the reality of what ordinary Nigerians are facing. He uses PMB's Ramadan outings as a case in point.

This is a powerful critique of both the Presidency as well as the system that surrounds it. If in these five summary points, all you and several of the other commentators lining up behind you see, is ethnic balancing then Nigeria has either spawned a generation tied to the mid riff of ethnic affiliation over excellence or one that does not read well.

Did you guys read the article or you just commented based on the title? Dele Momodu is not supporting the president in any way in this piece, he only passed his message by way of sarcasm. Read again and understand the point he's trying to make.

I think one of the major problems we are having is lack of comprehension.I believe that most of the people commenting on what Dele wrote are educated,yet they cannot comprehend what they read.
