Hello house, I am a green leaf in travels and had a lot of inhibitions towards leaving the country until recently I decided to further my education in Canada. So I searched for schools and settled for Memorial University. First, it's a Pgd program in education I am applying for, reason is that I have a 3rd class in performing/theatre Arts and want to make a switch to education and also improve credentials towards a masters program.
Application deadline is 15th of September 2016 and I am yet to send in my application. Do I need to take the Toefl exams? Since my first degree courses and modules were all taught in English. Also when I get an admission, can I use a sponsor account who is not related to me in any way for my visa application?

@t405, You look too desperate. In as much as we should do our best, to make our app. excellent; trying too hard spells desperation.

Please simplify things. You do not need to notorise all your documents; common, take it easy.
There's no crime in it if he notorize all his documents

You are welcome Mr Green leaf, you have a lot of reading to do if you really want to use this thread for your admission and TRV application. You have to confirm from MUN(Memorial University of Newfoundland) if they accept third class for their PGD. as most schools accept 2 2 for PGD in Canada. The information should be on the school website. I'm not sure you need to write TOEFL as many schools in Canada exempt Nigerian students. Still, you need to confirm this also. You can send a mail to graduate coordinator of the department to confirm all these information. Rgds.

Hello... Basically, the reason has been stated in your attempt to validate.

Check properly from the first page to the fifth page. For example, maybe you've not filled out the P.O Box in correlation with the second place its been requested for. Or maybe the input of you DLI No is with a 0 instead of a 'O'.

I really don't know- thus, i'm not concluding. But just go through and check where the problem is.

Once you've confronted that, it'll validate with relative ease.

Learning is a continuous process. But you have chosen to act stupid, yes STUPID (with no apologies)

This is very harsh...... sad

It is not a fair thing to say to another person especially since you have no issue with the person before now.

We're here to learn from each other and we are are entitled to our own opinion.

All of us on this thread have just one reason being on this thread........Travelling to Canada.

There's no need to bash each other.

Myself, i have my reservations to so many posts on this thread but rather than insult the person I just state my opinion and move on.

We need to stop all these insults. It doesn't reflect our level of maturity.

Hi Prince, When I applied my statement of account was less than 100,000. in fact to be factual it was around 71, 000 but I had a good sponsor and a well constructed Letter of sponsorship from my sponsor. I think the focus should be on how you write your letter of sponsorship to convince the VO. This is just mine opinion and not the mind of the VO. And less i forget to add, by God's grace my app was approved
Hi, please I can you help me with a sample of the sponsorship letter you used. I'm on this exact spot and I don't know how to address it. Thanks a lot in advance

Did you apply via paper route or online?

You can change your recovery questions or password but if you are unable to do that, you can create a new GCKEY and then link your existing application to the new account.

Hello, please i need help.

I submitted my aplication on 5th april 20!6, was called for medicals on 18 th april 2016. Up till now havent heard anything from them.

I linked my application to an online account and when i checked, under the review of document, there was no comment and under final decision. It had not started.

What do o do? I used the cic specific case form today.

How do i contact VAC Acrra, what do u think i shpuld do.

Please reply .

Hi Folk, the only help you need is yourself. Thinking and working yourself out is not the best option, it will only complicate your health in terms of HBP. I don't think anyone here can help you talk to the VO in charge of ur case. All you need to do is, for instance, if your application is delayed above the 14 weeks waiting period, visit CIC website and use case specific inquiry to explain your plight and also write to VAC Accra. I think they will respond to you.
Best of luck, this is my view and should not be misinterpreted in any form[/quote]

Like I said before, other than the obvious reason for a return ticket, you will need it for PTA. PTA allows students to travel with as much as 4K USD.

Now this is for those who have the habit of worrying, I totally understand your plight but these kinds of moods are very infectious and the more the thread goes in that direction, the more negative air we'll have around.

The more you pray, the less you'll panic. The more you worship, the less you worry. You'll feel more patient and less pressured.
Rick Warren

Get busy, remove those thoughts that pop in and tell you what if you're refused. Waiting periods should be used smartly, and if you happen to always be on the thread, answer peoples' questions and contribute generally in a good light.
