why are you telling me what I know? That Satan is the same jehovah u worship. He's the author of confusion but parades himself as the spirit of truth. I am a Muslim and i have lots of Christian friends. And I don't have any problem associating with them. My best friend is a Christian and he has always said it that his best friend is a Muslim. We lived together in the same room for years. So this is not new to me.

I didn't vent at her. But she was talking like they keep forcing her to remain a Muslim. There's freedom in the choices you make. So I don't think there's any sense in regretting your belief when you can easily change that belief.

I have Christians as my close relation. They've been in my house since on Tuesday for the eid'l fitr celebration. I've never forced them to be a Muslim and I've never hated them for being Christians. I love them because they are family. And to me family comes first.

That is a misapplication of referance. I did not deny the fact that there are liberal Muslims. They abound in every given society. Just this last week on a project site, I met an Engr. who was having his solat independently around 4pm ...others invited him that they should go to mosque, he said it's been almost 3years since he stopped going to the mosque or visit any 'priest or scholar'.

He stated the exact reasons as you have.
I'm a Christian and I told him that we have hypocrites in all religion.

Sweetheart, there is only one Islam but different types of Muslims. Just like you have different churches with different teachings. Some wear trouser, some don't, some celebrate Christmas, some don't etc. I could clear your doubt. I have Christian friends that I can do anything for cos they will do the same for me. It's about understanding what the religion preaches and respecting each others beliefs. I have a friend that each tym I visit her, she will make space for me in her room to pray.
