This is enough reason to fire the Minister/AGF if he, as Chief Law Officer doesn't know the powers of the various arms of government. What manner of impunity!

People were complaining of same under GEJ but we are yet to see even worse. This is why the office of Minister of Justice should be separated from the AGF so the political influence from all angles is reduced.
Fire my ass, What the AGF said was planned of the presidency and PMB is aware.. PMB just apologize cos it later result to insult on the senate.. It's like a case of i insult you and later apologize when the damage has been done..

Beside why is that the Senate always invite them when ever they are prosecuting Saraki? they invite CCT Chairman, now they are inviting AGF why?

Buhari remains a dictator and a tyrant. He did this because of the fear of impeachment. It is known.
I believe you were among those who praised him yesterday for the blunder his aide did.
Shut jor ogbeni and stop disgracing yourself impeachment my foot... Just tell me who among the Senators will move the motion and Saraki will preside over the impeachment? The day they make taht move the Chamber will burn that day remember PMB have so many loyalist if not them go don make the move since.

Good one by PMB.... That's Wisdom but he has to relief AGF of that position since he clearly lacks knowledge on basic matter. He should resign or be sacked asap.
This will further demonstrate PMB's lack of tolerance for corruption and indiscipline. angry angry angry angry angry
That will never happen, What AGF said is a plan by the presidency to ridicule Saraki and the yeye committee and the apology was to say no vex. It's like when a military man slap you wrongly and later say am sorry what will you do?

Fear of impeachment? for what exactly?
AGF already made certain clarifications, perhaps you never heard of the content of the matter. In my own opinion, he made a mistake by his acknowledgement of not answerable to the Senate. But truth be told, was he wrong?
The Senate is trying to adopt the matter as their own which is quite pathetic. The allegations is between 4 members of the Senate, not the Senate of the federal Republic of Nigeria. Or when does Four senators constitute the Senate of the federal Republic that warrant summons from a non performing committee?

loooolz... grin..on the contrary, you are the one promoting impunity by thinking the AGF should look the other way while saraki, ekwereymadu etal tinker with the content of senate rules which is a law by the way, from within the comfort of their hotel rooms, in other to gain undue advantage over their opponents... grin
That is d story of the defeated bloc in the senate leadership tussle, they would be defeated anyway! Their lame line that Saraki usurp the senate is only for the gullible. Their defeat would have been like Dogara versus Gbajabiamila!

They should live with it, Saraki has come to stay the more they fight him the stronger he becomes and the weaker the gang called APC gets!

The euphoria that greeted the victory at the polls by apc causes them to throw caution to the wind.

When a business of the senate had been fixed, Oyegun and the then gods 'Buhari' summon their 'handbag'. senators for a meeting.

Now that the gods can't deliver, they want to mess up the leadership of the Senate.

I think we can liken this to say the match between the super eagles of Nigeria and black stars of Ghana. Though we have just 11 players on the field but it's more than that. The pride of the whole country is at stake and not just the 11 players on the field.
You can only talk about pride if actually they're on the field of play and demonstrated a magnificent display not when they decided to go against the rule.

You are very wrong my friend! If president Buhari and and vice president Osinbajo are asked to appear in court on matters that can cause their removal from office, the executive arm is the target. These guys are not just senators. They are the senate leaders. Without them you are indirectly shutting down the senate.
By the way they are two senators not four.
I wish I could I agree with you after you have provided answer to the following question:
Who forged the Senate order? On what behalf was he forged?Who benefited from the unfortunate scenario?By dragging the entire Senate Into the matter is like trying to hide under the guise that the whole Senate was aware of the forgery Instead of reaching a consensus and follow due process

I addressed the school of thought that only 4 of the principals of the Senate have case to answer. Whether the team puts in a magnificent display or not he is representing the country or club and not just himself.

And the alleged person(s) are the one undergoing prosecution sir. What's the fuse about it then?My view is that the people involved are trying to make it look like the whole thing concern the entire Senate. You share in that sentiment too?

The Senate says they should be the ones to deal with issues that affect them in house. My point is that if they say the suit concerns all of them who am I or you an outsider to say otherwise?

I disagree totally with you sir.It was an Internal affair when a consensus was reached with regard to the selection of the principal officers of the Senate vis-à-vis the already established protocol and due process, but when the two Senate leaders met and decided to change things in other to suit their own personal agenda,is no more an Internal affairs sir.Need I to remind sir that one of the senators wrote a petition to the Federal high Court regarding the matter?
