i thought you have applied already? I mean your previous refusal, did the VO refuse you just because of the apt/street No. you mistakenly interchanged or was it amongst the cosmetic reason for the already main reasons he/she has in mind for refusal?

The Canada postal service staffs have threatened to go on strike. The strike has not commenced. It's only being threatened. I think IRCC is putting measures on ground to ensure uninterrupted immigration services.

Notice – Canada’s mail service may be interrupted. Find out how this affects you
Updated as of July 6, 2016

Effective July 5, 2016, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has put special measures in place to minimize the impact on the processing of applications in the event of an interruption in Canada Post Corporation mail services. This affects the use of all mail services across Canada (first class mail, Xpresspost, Priority courier, Registered Mail) and Canada Post receiving agent locations.

IRCC will hold all non-urgent documents normally sent by mail until IRCC resumes using Canada Post services to avoid the risk of it not being processed by Canada Post in the event of a postal service disruption. Certain IRCC authorized cheques (such as refunds and resettlement support payments) will not be held and will be sent by courier or through other arrangements, as available.

If possible, you should apply online and upload electronic copies of documents instead of submitting paper applications.

When IRCC resumes using Canada Post services, we will process paper applications received during the special measures on a “first in, first out” basis. We will use the postage stamp data to set up this processing order.

All statutory and legislative requirements remain in effect. In most cases, deadlines will not be extended because of this interruption to mail services.

Our online application system and communication tools are available at all times before, during and after an interruption to mail services.

You are welcome Mr Green leaf, you have a lot of reading to do if you really want to use this thread for your admission and TRV application. You have to confirm from MUN(Memorial University of Newfoundland) if they accept third class for their PGD. as most schools accept 2 2 for PGD in Canada. The information should be on the school website. I'm not sure you need to write TOEFL as many schools in Canada exempt Nigerian students. Still, you need to confirm this also. You can send a mail to graduate coordinator of the department to confirm all these information. Rgds.

Thanks for the insight given. I am not very confident about my class of degree, however since I am teaching and have some years of experience, I wish to switch to an educational program. I don't want to waste funds applying and sending my transcripts to MUN and then get turned down. Or what other programs can I apply for in your opinion that's not too expensive and with a high chance of being selected with my class of degree? Or do you think it's wise to apply with my 2008 O' levels and start afresh? Thanks

My fellow Nairalanders, who knows a lot about the course " Remotely Operated Vehicles " in Canada?. I heard it's a hot cake, University of Newfoundland offers it. A friend of mine drew my attention to this course in 2015. it's an offshore thing.
it's a very nice course.

My people my people...lol...i'm not sure how Canada Post's strike go affect medical call or TRV approval. The lockout is probably starting on Monday (if they don't postpone it again).

As far as they don't mail documents from here to all countries (embassies), i don't see how it will affect or how it has affected TRV processing. The lockout is definitely gonna affect peeps that applied for one thing or the other within Canada.

smiles, i wasn't picking on you, i see no reason why you stated all these, you didn't have to reply if the topic was dead and buried. you could have simplified ignored if you were busy enough
michV:
bro this issue is dead na and buried just that passersby who weren't glued when the argument originated which was as a result of CIC tension/Frustration/HBP have come to bring up this again.i have accepted and apologised.this was as a result of intensed argument.i had felt sorry for myself for improper public conduct/display..moreover the moniker that brought this up again should be careful cos I'm being calm explaining/apologising publicly and individually and to that effect i owe not any further comments on this.whoever feels to counter this buried issue again, i will be antagonistic about it if people will come from nowhere without reading past posts!
