Above all, I saw a determined Portuguese side tonight. I saw guys that were ready to die for their beloved country. I saw everyone step up their game immediately they lost their captain to injury.

From Rui Patricio to Raphael to Cedric to Pepe to Fonte to William to Sanchez to Adrien to Nani to Mario to Quaresma to Moutinho to the goalscorer - Eder.

Not forgetting the manager - Fernando Santos and his interim assistant (CR7).

The runner up is the worst looser. I dont think u know anything about inspiration. The Argentine has one of the best team in the world. This is their golden generation. They have many driving forces in that team, starting frm Javier M, Angel DMaria, lionel Messi.. Etc. But the portuguese team is all abt Ronaldo. An average side with few good but inconsistent players. CR7 qualified them from the group stages, he even at a point motivated Moutinho not to shy away from taking a spot kick, by telling him anybody could miss. He qualified them for the final. He wanted to continue playing, but his injured leg wouldnt let him...He left the pitch and came back to motivate the lads, when most players would have not come back. They won it for him. He is not just a great player, he is equally a fantastic leader....What a character He is..

Opinion varies from one person to another, we can't all love the same person - i used to like pogba before based on what i read about him online, my likeness for him diminished when i started watching him at juventus - he is just an ORDINARY average player.

Personally, i prefer veratti to pogba - he is more technical & skillful, matuidi is a better option too but pogba is a no-no, no hates though.

lol. I don't think Ronaldo would be a Guardiola. I think Messi would make a poor coach sha. He's very emotional and he bottles up feelings until he crumbles under the weight.
