If you want to be very productive, stressed and depth knowledge of your field, few holidays, longer hours a day, shorter/immediate sack, being tossed around by your boss with better pay, go for private firm.

If you want not to be pushed, less stress, longer years of service, enough holidays, plenty freebies like groundnut oil, rice, etc during festive periods with lesser pay, go for Government job

Job Stability
Growth
