The United Kingdom is structured while Nigeria is a process. Why didn't you note how easy it was for UK to get a replacement for Cameron without rancor and litigations. It's a different society and the UK PM doesn't have the kind of powers available to a Nigerian president. 6 Likes |

An SSS 2 student of Government will pity the OP for goofing. In Britain it's parliamentary system that is practised. In this system of government, the PM appoints his/her cabinet members from the lower house (called House of Commons in Britain), which she is also a member of. This arrangement makes the appointment of ministers simple as the PM won't have to look outside the House. Some political scientists would argue that in parliamentary system ministers automatically emerge once their party gets majority seats. What is just left is for them to be assigned portfolios. Did Teresa May send his ministers name to the senate for confirmation? Did the ministers have to pass to DSS screenings and federal character qualifications? Wailers and the Zombies should please shut up for once. Its really embarrassing to call ourselves youths at this point in time. Men in their late 50's, 60's,70's and even 80's pay some of us to come be their mouthpieces. We should all be ashamed. It seems Buhari didn't prepare to be President. How can a person win an election in March was inaugurated in May and still couldn't constitute his cabinet 3 months after his assumption of office? Yet social media representatives come here to defend him? I hoped 'HOPED' he was going to truly be the leader,that leader. Yet he has disappointed so badly !!! The British PM knows what her goals are n she has already hit the ground running. In Nigeria when politicians win elections they use a whole month for multiple thanksgivings and conduct prayer sessions as if we asked for a chief priest n not a leader.
