Yes it wont, cos of human nature bn what it is! But lets imagine d consequences of a few kilos of cocaine on an individual, family, community, state, country n we will see the need to enforce such stringent measures!

If those vermins dnt care about the devastatingly rippling effects of the drugs they try to smuggle in that country, why should we then care how they meet their waterloo.

Ele why are u questioning the efficacy of the hang man's noose and seem to forget the number of families that will be broken, the destinies that will be wasted, the lives that will b cut short in their prime by the drugs they peddle?

So wat do u propose as an alternative, spend taxpayers money on this same criminals in their prisons? They don't deserve such!

I am not questioning the efficacy of the hangman's noose.
I am just saying that despite all these consequences, some people will still go ahead to smuggle drugs there. That is why I shook my head.
