Just chillax bro,you will be posted before this month end. Come to think of it,funaab,unn and aou have extended their deadline date which means they are still waiting for the posting also. The institutions are the one confusing nigerians and not jamb. I was posted last week monday to my 1st choice uni and I had 186 plus I used awaiting result. Its not about how high your jamb score is or how good your ssce result is. Its all about how many people applied for the course and how many scored the 186 in that particular course. I pity those who chose schools like,OAU,UNN,FUNAAB,UNILAG,UNILORIN,UNIBEN,ABU and many over-hyped uni's cos most of them will be posted to north and polytechnics. The only thing that can stop people from gaining admission this year is their o'level result and those with incomplete credentials. Even jamb registrar,during the combine policy says that,we will all gain admission,only if we are serious. So my advice for u now is to start praying so that jamb will not post you to a private uni. ALLAH will see us through

What criteria is jamb using in posting candidates? Do they consider merit, catchment areas and elds? If so, are they going to send the exact number of candidates each university is going to admit? What if there is a shortfall afer screening and sourcing from other departments cannot fill the slots? is jamb going to send a supplimentary list or the slots will just be wasted? I would like to hear answers for these questions. It is obvious that the whole thing was rushed without due consultation. They should have allowed all universities to conduct their putme this year, then use the whole of the following year to shape sound modalities for implementation.

no...not before now bro infact it's now worst or how can one explain how lasu charged 5k,delsu 5k, uniport 6500,oau 6850 from not only the candidates sent to them for consideration but also from every candidate that chose them and had 180 and above. perhaps they are using there last opportunity to make enough money.

Delsu was 7200, I ended up paying 10000, Tasued 10, 200 I ended up paying 11500, have done both and have spent more than 30k sef

10 of jambs admission guidelines,it was clearly stated that the screening list has been uploaded on jamb's website for prospective students so going by this statement,there might not be further posting.if not,jamb wouldn't have made such statement.my observation though and to those waiting for official statement from jamb, i think jamb already stated it as written above.

How do you get successful candidates without screening? How can the Universities say some candidates are unsuccessful with.....

Your understanding of the word "screening" is flawed. And you are confused. I stand by my word. A university based on her carrying capacity, cut off points for each course, merit, educational disadvantage and others factors selects the candidates from JAMB successful candidates list sent to the university and revert back to JAMB to issue admission letter to the selected candidates.

This is the point where the screening would commence. Ensuring that the candidates with admission letter from JAMB meet the criteria of 5 credits, not more than two sitting, in required subjects combination, mental stability, potentially good character, observed through a physical interactive session like interview, etc. If at this, the candidate fails the screening, the university will find another person from JAMB, and so on. In your mind, the first process of picking the candidates is the screening. No! please.
