Try tying wrapper on your tummy and massaging your tummy with lukewarm water morning and night. When you've healed completely that's if you had a tear, you can start some little sit ups. I still wear girdle even when I'm eating.

sitz bath will help you heal yonder, add dettol or savlon plus salt to warm or Luke warm water and sit in it 3 or 4 time daily for about 15 minutes. The blood called lochia will stop by itself try not to do strenuous things so the flow doesn't increase.

Drink lots of water or fluids and keep putting baby to suck the flow will increase the more times baby sucks the breast. Take care.

pls does anyone feel this way, i notice ms was gradually letting up last tuesday, before then the only i take is vitamilk, tea and pap, any food i dont av to chew or without strong smell, but since last week, the rate at which i get hungry is out of this world, i must feed on something every 2 hrs or so else i will start having this feeling like i want to throw up, had to tell dh to increase the money he gives me to work,headache started last friday, one side of my head is so bad i cant open my eyes fully whenever its starts, am yet to register for ANC.
pls sabi mamas help look into my matter o, is my hunger normal?

Devil has been trying me since yesterday,but Godwin oh. Imagine make rat no see anything chop again except gas hose?hmmm. Yesterday I was cooking oh,when DH came back from work and entered the kitchen first to put off the gas,then he asked if I was not perceiving the gas that he stared perceiving before even entering the house,whereas devil has used catarhh to block my nose. So we decided to confirm the leakage,only to find out that a devilish rat has punctured the hose,and I was cooking oh with gas smalling everywhere,who else could have prevented the house from going up in flames if not God? Like iyawotuntun said "it can only be God".

Fast forward to this morning,my babies were on my bed,so I said I should quickly do the dishes before bathing them. So I was hearing funny sound ,one mind was like"go and check on the kids",the other one said "quickly finish up with the plate before going", I decided to check on them first.
Lo and behold the second boy was gasping for air,I don't know how he managed to drag the bedspread and used it to cover his face. I had to rush him outside so he can get enuf air,the poor boy couldn't even cry again as he was already weak.
Who could have pulled me away from that kitchen to go check up on them if not God.May his name be praised bothe now and forever.

How far along are you?
I'd say the hunger is normal. My ms stopped at 11weeks but by week 13, I started vomiting once a day. I'm now 14 weeks though and still vomiting once every day.

And the hungeer is out of the world. I can't eat any food thaats too serious except pap, golden morn, bread & tea, pringles, roasted corn, fried Irish potato (chips), fried yam (without sauce or stew). And I must eat every 2hours or else, it'll be like I want to vomit and faint.

So I guess it's normal, just always make sure you have something edible around just in case

You pump half of what he needs. After taking that, you transfer him to your breast. That way he will be satisfied and you won't miss out on bonding.

Tnx dearie, I think I will try it the other way round. Like introducing breast while he is desperate n then bottle wen he rejects breast b4 he will fall asleep after bottle feeding n I will be left out on feeling him.

So we went for the morphology scan at 19 weeks and boy, did I get emotional? Seeing my two little cuties dancing around made me shed tears of joy, like I couldn't believe it and everything became totally real. One was waving at us while the other kept sucking the thumb. I've never seen my husband so excited like that before in my entire life! Even the sonographer said our babies are so active as they kept jumping everywhere and at some point it looked like one was pushing the other.
Na soso instant family all the staff at the X-ray centre dey shout, oyinbo peeps with all the dramas that come with them. Some were even emotional, guess they were happy for us. As I can't share this joy with people I can see just yet, I decided to just give God all the glory here where people can relate to how I feel.
For now we are team surprise.

Now it's easier to start shopping and arranging their little nursery for them. May God provide and make it easy for us all. Buying certain items for two babies at once no be small money but our God is very able.

Plus the Kain hunger I dey feel these days nawa! Person just dey eat like whale wey don starve for years

Owo soup with fufu?? Lord have mercy. Please don't ruin our traditional meal o.

Anyway, here is the recipe for making Owo soup:

- Boil and season your meat with just salt and seasoning cube.
- If you're using fish, wash with hot water, rinse out and pour in the pot you want to use in cooking. Add water and steam for 5mins with very little salt.
- Mix little yellow garri with water and set aside. You'll need it soon.
- Once the meat or fish is sufficiently cooked, add your palm oil and grounded crayfish. Using too much crayfish can darken the soup. So use moderately.
- There's a particular thick palm oil we use specially for owo soup. If you don't have it, use any thick palm oil you have.
- Allow to boil together for about 15mins
- Add the garri you soaked and allow to boil for another 15mins. Put them in bit by bit. This is the soup thickener. Make sure the soup is not too thick because it'll still boil some more.
- Reduce the fire a little
- Dissolve potash according to the size of your soup and add to the pot.
- At this stage, you can't walk away from the pot else it will bubble over. Once it begins to bubble, use a big spoon to fetch the foamy part up and drop it back to the pot. This technique will prevent it from bubbling over.
- Add salt to taste
- Leave it to cook and in a few minutes, you will notice that the addition of the potash has caused the prior watery stock to thicken a little. Take it off the heat and let it cool down a little.
- Do not cover when the soup is hot else it will make the oil float and change the texture of the soup
- Serve with starch, eba, green plantain or boiled yam


I nor sabi type recipe o. So manage am. It looks complicated with my many explanations but its one of the easiest soups to prepare.
