Mrs Adeosun, said this at the
Senate where she is
currently briefing lawmakers
on the state of the Nigerian
economy.
The lawmakers had on May
26 summoned the Minister to
brief them on the 2016
budget and other economic
issues affecting Nigerians.
Mrs Adeosun, however,
failed to appear before the
upper legislative chamber on
Wednesday, prompting the
motion to have her do so
unfailingly on Thursday.
The Senate said that the
Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi
Adeosun, had to appear
before it before members
proceed on recess
.
The Senate before inviting
the Finance Minister and the
CBN Governor, Godwin
Emefiele
, in the month of May, noted
that unemployment rate rose
to 12.1 per cent in the first
quarter of 2016 from 10.4
per cent in the last quarter
of 2015.
The Senate agreed that the
declining Gross Domestic
Product and high inflation
rate clearly showed that the
country’s economic policies
required an urgent review to
avoid a further plunge in the
economy.

I just pity this Kemi Adeosun

all she does is give us how much has been saved for the country

what have you done with the so saved?
what will you do with so saved?
how will you generate since the so saved cannot afford to run the country?

do you have any prospective policy?

Some people are just shameless. Must this woman talk when there's absolutely nothing tangible to say? When Nigeria "was not saving kobo" according to Buhari and his jaundiced party, Nigerians could buy petrol at N87/litre, Kerosene was affordable to hapless rural women. The prices of Beans and Rice were moderately ok. But in a twist of fate, someone claims her govt is saving N6 billion monthly, yet inflation has risen to 16.5%, food stuffs are gradually going beyond the reach of ordinary Nigerians. Are these people working in Buhari's govt cursed or just unrepentantly stewpid?
