, abeg who else is feeling this kind pain around wk 14, its in my thigh region the place starts frm my groin area on my left side, and radiates to my thigh, it comes and go but the past 30 mins it has refuse to go, can anyone tell what this pikin dey do nw? @jazzyjazz @sixx my preggy buddy and oda sabi mamas, @mitchy u've been quiet o, howz bobo hansel doing abi u don vex leave us ni?

BIRTH STORY . ( pls manage my epistle, I didn't do summary n comprehension in secondary sch)

According to lmp and scan, EDD was 22nd, 23rd and 24th of July.
29th june, I went for antenatal and after the routine tests, I saw d matron and complained of reduced fetal movement. She checked for the movement using a dopler, she couldn't find any; she called 2 nurses to check for the movement but no movement was found. Them no tell me, they just dey do face one kind. I knew something was wrong but I kept my cool. They asked me to wait and see the gynae. I quickly rushed to eat moi-moi and fish because I understood there was a task ahead.
Doctor came, checked and checked and checked, nothing was found, I saw d worry on her face and she started asking me when last I felt baby's movement. She called a senior colleague and was reporting my case with fear in her voice. I almost started to cry but I thought to myself that " if I start crying, something would go wrong", I started praying while the doctors were busy looking for heartbeat of my baby. 20 minutes later, the heartbeat came and I could hear it. It was very very fast. That was when I started to cry. (tears of victory).
I was told they had to induce labour and bring my baby out fast. I started crying uncontrollably ( I wasn't ready to born o. I've not prepared my mind). Everybody was just consoling me.
I called Dh and my mum. I was admitted in d labour ward immediately and cytotec was inserted into my vjay. I just laid down on my cosy bed feeling cool. 6 hrs past, there was no pain or cramp, the nurses were asking me if I was feeling labour pains, I told them I don't know how labour pains felt like and I feel nothing. I was just concerned for my baby's heartbeat.
By 6pm, the doc checked my vjay and said "cervix is closed, no dilation" another cytotec was inserted, my condition remained same; though, they were monitoring baby's heartbeat per time. Dh, mum and my brother has already turned the hospital into a prayer house.
At 3 am the next day 30th June, 2016, another doctor came,inserted his hand into my vjay and said "cervix is still very closed.
By 9am, they checked and said, I was fully effaced but not dilating. That was when the gynae instructed them to give me drip oh. I asked the gynae if the drip would be painful, the man say "labour is painful and God made it so" I asked if he doesn't believe in supernatural child birth he say "that's not part of the price Jesus paid." I was still feeling fly. Immediately after d nurse set d line, mehn! I understood what they meant by labour. The pain was intense, non stop, no break. I didn't scream, I kept breathing in and out but in Fortius voice, "ko le work"
The pains were outta this world mehn. I prayed all the prayer points. The pains no dey give break oh, not even 1 min break. Amidst the pains, baby heartbeat was constantly checked and it even increased d pains.
By 2pm the doc did a VE and said I was 4cm dilated. The first drip had finished and another was set. Oh boy! I was discouraged. I got angry with God sef because, I suspect say he no dey answer my prayers.I even vex for my baby. At first I was begging him to just come out in peace, as I vex na im I tell my baby to sit down there na. In all these I wasn't shouting, I was talking to myself.
I started saying cs oh, cs oh, I want cs. One of nurses said " madam stop saying cs na, u wan waste ur husband money? U can do it, there's nothing wrong with you." I come provoke the more, " nurse, is it ur money? Let my husband spend his money to remove me from this pain o. How can I be in labour from 10 am to 2pm and I'm still 4cm? When will I reach 10cm?" the other nurses come begin beg me to be patient and pray. One of the nurses started praying for fast dilation. I was hungry and weak, I had not eaten and I had vomited 3 times.
By 4pm a doc came for another VE and he said I was 7cm dilated. Immediately he checked, I had d urge to poo, it was uncontrollable. I knew it was my baby pushing my rectum.
Me: "Nurse,my baby is pushing me oh, it's like I want to shit"
Nurse: pls don't push o, its not time yet, dooh, e remain small. I like the way u have been quiet since morning we never hear ur voice.
Na so I begin use hand hold my bum-bum. If the thing push me, I push am with my hand. When I couldn't resist the push anymore. I started shouting " nurse, I will push oh, wether u like it or not, I will push"
By 5pm,the nurse came to check and baby's head was here already, she quickly gingered the other nurses and asked me to do as I was told. Na so she hold scissors close to my vjay.
Oya push, I pushed out the baby's head, was told to wait to check for the cord. They asked me to push harder this time, I pushed and pushed, kolewerk! I was weak, contractions stopped, baby didn't push again. Nurses started slapping my thighs and shouting at me to push oh; na im I tell them say I dey push oh. Immediately, she cut me with the scissors, (I felt the cut but no pains, I guess I was numb to pains at that moment) I still couldn't push. The prayer warrior nurse ( God bless her) shook her hand inside my veejay and removed my baby boy; this was abt 5:05pm. Baby didn't cry; after few secs, he sneezed and coughed. Five minutes later, placenta came out. Baby Dominique was birthed at 37 weeks on 30/6/2016 at 5:05pm Nigeria time.
Glory be to God, the giver of life; who didn't bring me this far to abandon me.

My teamie, I de follow feel the pains too on my left side sometimes but mine doesn't last long. Dey say it's normal oh! So I take it as part of the package
