Somebody predicted here that a Northerner will be given the job as is the policy of this administration.

But the above joke aside Salisu Yusuf is an experienced coach who has worked diligently as an assistant to many coaches in the past.
But I also think we need a new NFF devoid of Amaju Pinnick and Giwa. These 2 men have rendered our football almost comatose and caused us national embarrassment by not paying our coaches who died while being owed their salaries due to their infighting that has lasted for the past 3 years.

Ask yourself since Nigeria has not had Foreign Coach. How far have Nigeria Super Eagles fared internationally? Emotion should never becloud our objective judgement.
Le Guen has just refused a Slavist contract and unrealisable target. Even late Steve Keshi and Sunday Oliseh pointed to NFF Slave - Like Contract. Yusuf have accepted it all because he is desperate for the job not result, so lets see how far can go.

These Nigerian coaches would have been good if they went to coaching academy and obtained appropriate certificates like that of Jose, Wenger et al and another issue is that our foreign based players would not likely take instructions from a local coach, this happens everywhere and could have explained why Moyes lost his Job at Man U.
Finally, our local coaches are easily bribed, why woul Late Amodu keep playing a wasteful Yakubu Aiyegbeni upfront?
Bros, Emelano is doing a good job at Chelsea and i can beat my chest to say no NFF executive has his experience and sports literacy, someone related to that can be made the coach of Super Eagles and i will be rest assured he will perform not one mumu Yussuf.
