Fayose is just a criminal and a fraudster that is looking for attention. He forged the Zenith banks statement on the allegation and even went ahead to place it as advert in a national daily. He's desperately trying to use the bole kaja (come down and fight) tactics to draw out zenith bank into a messy public fight and I hope Zenith bank won't take his bait. Zenith had denied the allegation of funding his election and if he has any revelation to reveal as promised, he should go ahead and spill it now. If he has nothing reasonable to say, he should shut up and allow EFCC to continue their investigation. |

Nawa o....Is there any need for all these on pages of newspapers? its just a act if wasting the available scarce resources |
Pls Nairalanders, what is the cost implication of placing a full colour page in Vanguard news paper? Now let's calculate how many Ekiti workers this can pay their salaries [What do you mean? You mean the governor can't afford such advert? The amount would definatly not be up to what the President spent galivantly all over the world] |

Strange enough I am a pro fayose. If not for fayose, it would all be silent from the opposition party, the bickering and fighting makes democracy interesting. Most pDP member have either decamped to APC or kept quiet for fear of being prosecuted, but he is lone voice that keeps firing missiles from the opposition party, reminds me of tinubu during obasanjo regime |

Yes he can afford it, but what's the point wasting it on media when he can use it to offset the bill of some ekiti state workers. They are more interested in themselves alone than the people they govern ![]() |

NavierStokes:And Zenith bank hasn't come out to say they were not behind the letter? Fayose needs his head checked. |
| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by Gistarena(m): 5:36pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
Who is suppose to make this advert, Fayose or Zenith Bank. Why is fayose running upanadan, and Zenith bank is not saying anything> they have initially stated that they never funded Fayose's election. 2018 will soon get here. |
| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by NavierStokes(m): 5:37pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
amagunnerfan:Neither have they come out to say otherwise, but the way this is going, they will, thats not my business though, the reason this is the first time both on and off-line i am commenting on this situation. |

Nairalanders.. how are we sure the fake statement isn't FAYOSE'S handwork?? Maybe just a means to bring down the bank along with him at all cost.? My thought tho |

A press statement is NEVER written in the same format as an official letter. |
| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by Femsyn(m): 5:46pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
Anyone with little graphics expertise will produce that letterhead in less than 30mins. No scanned images. Zenith Bank's logo is the easiest there is, while others are just texts. My point is, if anyone wants to forge a letterhead of that magnitude, why won't he take his time to do it well? If Fayose wants to debunk the publication, he should find other means, not by pointing out meaningless "errors", which may have been done deliberately! Zenith Bank can design the publication anyhow they deem fit, after all, its not a corporate advertisement or annual report. As long as its duly signed and carries their logo (scanned or not). |

Wasting insufficient state resources. Funny country we live in. |
| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by amagunnerfan: 5:53pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
NavierStokes:And you honestly believe EFCC will forged such a letter? If this is fake, the source of the advert should be investigated. I am 100% sure if it is not Zenith bank then Fayose and his men are behind it. |

CecyAdrian:Ayo Fayose will not pay Ekiti workers with his personal money. That he is the governor of Ekiti State does not mean he will take shit from anybody trying to rubbish his name. The post is about false allegation by EFCC and not about salary payment. Just face the fact and stop behaving like your parents in government. |

| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by NavierStokes(m): 6:05pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
winningwinner:Tell em bro, I tire for people reasoning walahi. So in their own reasoning, if Fayose is owing workers then his reputation can be slandered at will without him defending himself. If he keeps quiet they will say he is guilty, now he is taking pains to prove important points that any rationale individual should be interested in, and they are going out in loud retorts. Fayose's accusation against whoever Is behind that letter, is a weighty one and we all should be routing to get to the bottom of that matter. |

| Re: Fayose: Advert On Vanguard To Discredit Zenith Bank's Statement by Semper247(m): 6:10pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
agabusta:The questions are: Why is zenith plc silent about this? Why is efcc silent about this? U know why fayose is the only one talking? Because he is afraid.. As a procedure, zenith plc will not do anything that will obstruct/influence the process of investigation and likewise efcc won't join issue with fayose because that is the standard procedure anywhere in the world. Don't be surprised that people claiming this is forged are the same who put it in the public domain. The fight of a drowning man..... Most of his supporters are just daunce |

are nigerians that dull ![]() A letter delivered by post or hand mail would most likely look differentfrom the one sent to the news paper outlet for mass reproduction, and that does not make the latter less original. Even government and private organizations in developed countries use scanned signatures via adobe. |
