cheesy HEEEEEEY !!! I have just confirmed the madness of this APC led government. Just when you think they can't come up with any other stúpid idea, they bring a more hilariously stúpid one to entertain us.

Oya o, farmers. The FG has just told you guys that if you don't pay protection money, you'll be kidnapped from your farms grin

In my opinion i think the farmers are self centered. Remember these herdsmen are Nigerians and they have the right to live and do their businesses any where in Nigeria. What's the big deal in allocating some portion of their farms for cattle grazing? If they were also rearing cattles, won't they graze them? The herdsmen are majorly the source of beef in the country and since everyone patronizes their meat, why can't we support the grazing bill so they can stop moving their cattles in the cities and instead have grazing fields? If every state creates grazing reserves don't you think it will limit clashes between farmers and herdsmen? I know there are bad eggs amongst the herdsmen but we can't throw away the baby and bath water. There has to be a compromise for the sake of peace.

The farmers should be ready to pay for their protection since they are doing their private business. They are not expected to buy guns to protect themselves. The government will provide security if they are ready to pay. The fulanis are not violent people, let's stop the stigmatization of herdsmen sad

Just imagine

APC is the biggest mistake. Though I am a kind of happy that they won the last election because if Jonathan had won, they (APC) would have been telling us how they could had turn Nigeria to heaven on earth. Now, it's obvious that they are more clueless than the man they called clueless.

I totally disagree with you. A farmer either inherits or acquires his farmland, and so should not be under any obligation to donate such land for grazing. He can only sell or lease his land for grazing if only he is willing and not give it out for free under any guise to herdsmen who are running businesses of their own for profit. Animal husbandry or the rearing of cows is a business venture and should be treated as such. Herdsmen should acquire their grazing land or build their ranches. If government is willing to help or encourage meat production , then government should provide grazing land from its reserves and not take from farmers. Government should also offer palliatives and agro-education to both the farmers and herdsmen whilst ensuring that taxes are collected.
Cattle rearing is a business and should be treated as one by both the government and the citizens alike.

Nigeria has not seen anything yet!

It's our country's own end-time scenario.

This ethnic and jihadist group is going to increasingly steal, kill and destroy the Commonwealth of Nigeria.

Only God knows the full details of their evil plan which is gradually unfolding before us. But I think their plan is Turkey-like - Riding on the back of democracy to implement hiden agenda. Some elements in the military and police will be used against Nigerians for ethno-religious reasons. It's deja vu again and again and again.

O God, have mercy on us and help us! For your name's sake and the sake of the poor, the weak, the needy and the oppressed of the land.

Jesus is Lord!

ladies and gentlemen, The mafia is indeed in power. In this period of recession "non cattle"rearers will pay protection fees while cattle readers will be supplied with free land, imported grass and their ever handy AK 47 rifles.

I Am boiling for the pathetic state of this nation. just recently the presidency put the civil defense in charge of the herdsmen killings.

Non Muslims living in Muslims' lands are supposed to pay tax to Muslim governments for protection. That's the implication: Nigeria is neither a secular nor multireligious but Islamic State.

See ur conclusion KO? It's very obvious that the problem with we Nigerians is just sentiment and greed.
*U said the farmers are self Centered.
*U said again that farming is their private business. Is cattle rearing not the herdsmen's private business? Y don't you suggest that they too use their own money to buy plots of lands in their respective villages and rear their cattle's as the farmers are in their own villages minding their farming?
*Thirdly u said Fulanis are peace loving people that we should not use a part to represent a whole. So all the killings by the Fulani headsmen all this while is a display of PEACE?
* You also said that farmers should pay for their protection. If I may ask, are the farmers not amongst the Citizens of the country that have their right of protection? Are the Fulanis more Nigerian than the Farmers? Y don't u also suggest without any iota of sentiment that even the Fulanis should also pay for their own security?
*Lastly, u said the cattle reared by the herdsmen are sources of beef for all Nigerian. If I may ask u, are the crops reared by the farmers also not consumed by all Nigerians?

I don't think you have any reasonable point. You're nothing but a headsman defending his fellow herdsmen. Better change ur ways and always support nothing but the truth.

#I stand against the federal govt policy that said farmers should pay to protect theirselves#
