I want to start ablog on wordpress for the first time so I want to know how much it will cost for the domain name,webhosting and so on. Pls I need u gus help now,how much does it takes to start a wordpress blog?best place to download wordpress.org if am right, best place to buy domain name and webhosting? I see you are full of mighty doubts but don't worry all will be clear in seconds...

1. Ans to ur TOPIC: You don't need to create a wordpress blog/website from wordpress.org, you can simpy install it from your cpanel dashboard by going to SOFTACULOUS APP INSTALLER, then you see wordpress, install it, As simple as that! but if you go through wordpress.org then thats the manual way, as you will have to download the zip file from there and upload into your host, then install....

2. Cost for domain and host: I know there are numerous Nigeria web host here on nairaland but I will never vouch any for you, as you will suffer it later, go for a foreign host, In all I will vouch for namcheap, their simple hosting goes around $10 for the first year and their domain $9.89 or so, with that am sure with around 7k-8k you are done with that!...

3. Lastly you will need a cool theme and a nice design, that you should be able to customize yourself, if you can't, you can mail me to set it up for you..

wordpress ain't cool on mobile as blogger, it will be suitable on PC, you will always see a download link on the official wordpress.org site, if u need more help, feel free to contact me!

it all depends on what hosting package you want. Visit most of the web hosting site and see the prices of their packages, then do the costing

you can make use of for now by adding a domain name to it without breaking the bank. No need for hosting. One thing that makes most bloggers to fail is using the right platform at the wrong time.
