tippex..yes i had dis experience wt my first preggy nd it was nt pleasant maidia..i almost asked for evacuation,d fibroid too was located in d muscle,my boy was usin it as a pillow,it happened for 3days nd stopped,d more he pushed it,d intense d pain bt here i am wt d second preggg nd so far no serious pain,u can only tak d pain killer nd relax,i worked wt a clinic briefly in abuja nd d MD gav me dis drip nd d pain jst flew off,God bless dt man even my personal hospital couldnt do anytin,i was given paracetamol..sori for d long story,jst relax nd manage d pain,u r almost at ur destination..ehugs to u mam.

hmn..it's a sad story for us..we lost the baby immeaditely he was born.he sneezed once and left us.though,he is gone but i can never stop loving him because he still meant so much to me .God almighty understand and see everything.thank you so much

Hmmm I had this thrice ..... 1st at 12weeks . 18 and 24 weeks . Each time mine happened it was very terrible .... That I could not walk ... I was admitted for 3 days each time and was placed on painkiller injections .... That's my experience ... Mine are also outside and not big o ... But mehn that degeneration is crazy . Ask ur doctor if he can admit u and place u on IV pain relieve if the pain is too much .

Good evening mamas,

I am a #teamseptember mum and just clocked 30 weeks. I have been experiencing severe pains since Monday around where my fibroid is located. I felt it a little in my first trimester but it wasn't this bad. The good part is that the fibroid is outside my uterus so it's not in any way harming the baby , but the pains I am having is excruciating.

I went to the hospital and the doctor did and ultrasound and said that the fibroid is degenerating and it usually causes a lot of pain, he prescribed some mild painkillers but it's not working. The pain lasts for about a minute and sometimes it comes every 5-10 mins. He said I just have to religiously use the painkillers as he cant prescribe anything stronger.

I don't know if any other person is experiencing this or if anyone has suggestions on how I can manage the pain. I have been praying that it doesn't continue till baby is full term cos I don't know how I would cope.

Me I am here o .... I don begin waka like penguin or duck ... Waddling waddling . I am now officially tired ... My energy level has dropped honestly . We are 36wks6days today. Baby has dropped o and I can feel him between my pelvis ... Mum keeps looking at me and says I can't last 2 weeks cheesy

. That I go done born . Backache on fleek , no swollen legs sha . Total weight gain is 14kg embarassed

. Yet my cloths still feet . But above all I can't wait to meet my baby . Packed my hospital bag yesterday and I started crying that I wud soon become a mummy . Ohh well forgive my rant ... grin

thank you dear. depends on where ure based. In d hosp I used, they have a SCBU (special care baby unit), 24hr monitor and care for the babies.
I advice that she eats well so the babies can gain weight. Avoid stress and pray, pray, pray and all will be well.

Thanks so very much, and how are the little ones doing?
She is actually based in Port Harcourt, but she can be moved to any location(within Nigeria) where we can have the best of care for the babies when delivered at such early period.
Few enquiries about US neonatal care suggests very very expensive ordeal.(don't even go there).
Just to know, how much was the daily Neonatal cost per baby?
