sunnyb0b0:Naira devaluation affected our Internally Generated Revenue positively? I wish iPods would wipe the mucus of hatred from their brains from time to time and let in fresh air so they can think straight. odiks: |

QuotaSystem:**** So only IGR makes up the federation account? As per IGR, are you from Mars not to know when most corporate entities end their tax year and hence remit corporation tax to FIRS? Thats how you people were celebrating rainy season induced improvement in power supply to body language last year.

sunnyb0b0:My friend keep quiet. The rise in revenue for allocation was attributed to the rise in the IGR component of the federation account for whatever reason. You can only deceive your fellow hollow minded iPods. Keep wailing (it's expected) but wail with sense because your lies will continue to be busted. |

The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, announced this in Abuja on Thursday while addressing newsmen at the end of the FAAC meeting. She attributed the increase in revenue to efficiency in collection by the revenue generating agencies. God bless Hon. Mrs. Kemi Adeosun. The more leakages she blocks, the better the country becomes. Sad this government came in when our Crude Oil revenue fell. |

Even at that, you cannot still take away plugging loopholes and leakages, drastic reduction in wastages and competence in revenue and tax collection as part of the steps instrumental to achieving this. Give it to them bro. I am talking from the planet earth. sunnyb0b0: |

TheGoodJoe:Increase revenue is mainly attributable higher naira-dollar exchange rate and December year-end companies filing their tax return which was due by June 30. Reality is capacity untilization in the economy has been dropping and cost of production is going up due to increased cost of fuel and raw materials. Local bank interest rate is rising to adjust for inflation, a lot of companies with foreign loans and payables are carrying huge FOREX loss. |

9ijaprince:Nigeria may not be, as evidenced by the current situation of Venezuela. Even most of the middle-East also have free money at their disposal. The difference is in the mentality. Nigeria's case is like someone that won a lottery, went to a beer parlour, blew it all and became worse off. |

sunnyb0b0:Exactly. This is the advantage of devaluation which PmB did not understand . At least enough money to pay workers and do some local things If he had done this a year ago , the issue of states owing won't arise or will be minimal Thank God hope this continues..... |

2kass:Even if Osun State receive 0 naira, I don't think it will have much effects as we're already used to it. With zero allocation to Osun State, we're still better than Bayelsa state with all its monthly 13% derivation in terms workers salaries and infrastructural development. Abi I dey lie? |
