I dont think it really boosts battery life, the application is just there consuming space on phone. The pop ups are so annoying i feel like removing the app, am just inquisitive if it really extends the normal battery capacity or even allows phone to charge faster

That app is more like a VIRUS , consumes more battery than saving

I have just reset my phone and was thinking of installing it. But the experience I had last was annoying and frustrating.

The app is not doing anything, not saving any battery rather it takes up space and sends u annoying notifications.

most of these battery saver apps just drain up the battery by constantly running in the background. I'ld advice that u root your device with kingroot and install purify.
Purify is a terror to battery draining apps

I uninstalled DU battery saver and cleaner after I noticed that they run down battery with their endless notifications. the only advantage is that they don't need root access and they can identify apps that are running down your memory, as well as clear unnecessary things to get back your storage space.
if you can root your phone, there are better apps like purify, greenify etc. Even avast antivirus and cleaner is okay.

^{I have used these battery draining saving apps (Battery Doctor and Du Battery Saver) on my former phones, I see no difference, instead it reduces the lifespan of your battery and let apps on your phone to misbehave (by force-closing).

They are useless.}

walahi ehn, me sef no trust these apps too. I have the clean master lite. once in a while, it tells me to clean junks. but I doubt if it cleans anything. even the so called du battery saver/optimizer, dat one no dey optimize anything. if ur battery wan die, e go still die. undecided

heard about purifier, but they said I gats ruth my fone first, before it works perfectly. what kind of app allows such? smells fishy. maybe it collects ur data and sends to the CIA. maybe

I installed the app earlier this week and I dont think the app is really doing anything useful asides popping up ads every now and then. Im just gonna remove the app now.

I had du speed booster, du battery saver. But it does not work. My phone is always freezing and the charging notification is always coming up every time. And it takes like 1 min for me to input my pin code each time I wanna unlock my phone. The only thing that works is the trash cleaner. I removed it last week and my phone has been better off.

No.android is not meant to have task killer and battery savers apps such as du

Apps are meant to be minimised when not needed,and not to be closed completely because subsequent app running will take more time to open.

Furthermore,processes like Google play services if closed will reopen almost immediately.
The cycle of closing and reopening is very battery wasteful.

The better alternative is to have a wakelock detector and a hibernator app like greenify

Wakelocks are the major source of battery drain on android ,not too many open apps

The thing just dey chop space for nothing i beg.The only function i see d app performing is to show you battery level % which even if its not there the battery meter will do .

it saves nothing but rather help in draining your battery, because it works in background as such draining battery. d only use about this is to kill apps nd this can be done in application management.
