The cjtf are vigilante group who are securing their communities against external aggression.If that is so,pmb should give opc and other vigilante group automatic employment into the army.

These boys are not only securing their territory but they go into the camp of the Enemies (Terrorists against the country) to free captured Nigerians. I doubt OPC does that.

This is wrong...in as much as they have given a lot to that theatre, there is a national content act in place. Why not wait till the next recruitment into the armed forces and give them the quota of the state's involved?

Maybe by then, they'll deserve and probably get their own chance of being absorbed into d military.

This is how it starts sectionalization of the nations force before u know this guys will be more obidient to their masters who Employed them and the next thing it will lead to coup and then we reverse back to status quo
Its good to reward the brave men and ladies with Employment but I think it could have been done in batches and other ethnic nationalities also employed to balance the process cos this one is just one sided affair North east so what happens to other Vigilante bodies who also paid the supreme price in peace keeping are they not worthy of the Nigerian ARmy

I dont agree with this type of recruitment into the NA! Those CJTF member are semi-illitrate at best and I doubt if many of them could communicate in fluent pidgin/broken english talkless of proper english, then what happens if these new recruits are posted to the South, where Hausa language is not spoken? Definitely, they will become brutal and far more agressive towards the locals in the South since they can not communicate directly with them.
I would have agreed for these people to have been recruited into the Nigeria Police and then the FG should have encouraged regional police force through them!

Just like that?No screening to determine their educational qualifications,tattoo and past criminal records as they use in screening applicants in the regular intake of the army?We all know that many of them were arrested for having links with bokoharam by the last administration.I assume these guys were the release bokoharam suspects from the army detention.Another illegal hiring has just being conducted by the Dullardd administration.

Lols they are recruits who have bled 4 naija.

Pls go and fight the avengers here in the south...if u manage survive I bet u will be absorbed into the army too.

There's a lot of sense in this, quota system is employed to ensure equity in the Armed Forces, this wanton compensation for these vigilantes sounds moral, but then the law is the law. The question is whether our laws regarding the Armed Forces has provisions for anything like this.

Ever heard of the word exigencies? They are normal recruits though , basically this gives them official cover and entitlements / insurance for their families.

Pls go and Google BH attack clips and see the animals these guys aiding our army to fight against.

It's been 5/6years! They deserve it!!
