What exactly is the work of the Ooni, has he taken over tye work of the minister for foreign affairs, I dont understand hi mission really when he starts to visit other country's head of state instead of fellow tradtional rulers. The man is simply trying his best to be in the spotlight.

The Ooni of Ife and his wife were warmly welcomed and hosted by the Ghanian President on their visit to the Nigerian neighbours.

He and his wife were given this lovely art work as a parting gift!!!

Why do these Yoruba kings love light-skinned women so much? It's almost like it's a prerequisite... Shameful influence of colonialism. Hope the Ooni didn't also go there and declare 'Jesus' to be his father like they said he did in America, to the disappointment of the numerous blacks there who (rightfully) expect African kings to remain culturally independent, even if their people choose to chase foreign deities.
