I am happy some of you ve already started the process of dividing this country. No investigation has been carried yet to ascertain the identity of the criminals yet someone is calling them ijaw youth. Are the yorubas so naive not to understand that this latest development might be from their people?.since pipe line contract has been cancelled crime has risen so high. Instead of them to look inward the re accusing ijaws. I am of the opinnion that all this accusation could instigate ethnic crises which may lead to killings of innocent people. Is not by force to answer one Nigeria. People can go their separate ways peacefully. Nigeria can never survive another civil war.

Please tell me what investigation u carried out b4 attaching crimes committed in benue to herdsmen or crimes in the north to bh.. Is this their (militants) first attack in ikorodu. The last time was the kidnap of an oba and threats of more attack on Yoruba land..

This morning, the pastor of a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) branch in Isawo, Ikorodu was abducted by gunmen who initially dressed like people who come to church for service. Read the details:

Dear Metronaija... A RCCG pastor was kidnapped this morning 7.00am 24th July 2016 at his church in Santos bus stop Isawo. The workers meeting always take place before the day service and the Pastor has to be in church much earlier.

He was busy preparing for the meeting when suddenly some people came in dressed in beautiful attire and they were taken to be members who had come to worship. It was not until they pulled out guns before it dawn on us that they are the Ijaw militants...

As I write the pastor has been whisked away.

We are using this opportunity to cry out to the Lagos state government and the police as this is now a daily occurrence in Isawo, Ikorodu. We all are at the mercies of God.

Why is there so much insecurity in the land? It has become worse in the last one year! My husband's first cousin was shot dead ai his home in this same Ikorodu early this morning by heavily armed robbers! If they're killing people who are struggling to be successful in life like this,does that mean people shouldn't aspire to be successfull anymore..? Does it mean that militants came all the way from Niger-delta to kill people or they hust want to blame it on Niger deltans to cause tribal war.. I know those people are just pipeline vandals or those formerly guarding the pipelines that have resorted to kidnapping and killing people! I don't know what to say,but God will judge them for killing my husband's cousin this morning.

Do u stay in isawo? We living in that area we know that they are ijaws. If u see how they and navy were raining(exchanging fire) bullets on friday midnight/ saturday morning @ majidun, men it was so terrible. The navy didn't allow them to pass their jerrycans canoes tru majidun axis.

I listened to dayo adeneye that is now a commissioner in ogun state he was very clear about the identity of the criminals. He said they re vandals and criminals. He never said they re ijaw youth. He however pleaded with the inspector general of police to assist with security. The two situation is different. They fulanis always come face to face with the community and must times they claimed they acted in self defence. Ie whenever their cattles are stolen by cattle rustlers. The evidence re so clear cos they community also kill some of them in self defence. As far as am concern this guys re kidnappers and criminals. One day they will be caught and their real identities revealed. Untill then no one has right to accuse the ijaws or other ethnic group. In must crimes they criminals re united ie u will see igbo, yoruba and even hausa team up to commit crime. Some re high way robber and some re kidnappers. Wait untill the law enforcement agent confirm they re ijaw youths before I can believe u. I don't support crime in anyway.many yorubas, igbo and hausas ve helped me in life so I love to be fair
