It has to do with education and orientation. Though they have a lot of good people up north but when it comes to religion they can change in a split seconds

I spit on that religion angry
Your verbal insult against the religion rather than the perpetrator is even worse than the physical attack on the church by this gang of boys.
At least they were directing their attack against the immediate cause of their anger (i.e. the church noise making) but you rather foolishly chose to instead condemn the entire religion of Islam as if the religion itself incited those boys to attack the church - even as the police had clearly identified the motive behind the attack as robbery.

By the same token, I wonder what names or insults you would unleash on Christianity if I told you that the same thing happened in Akwa Ibom but this time it was Christian youths who attacked and burnt a church because the church's daily activity was interfering with their own criminal activities.

Note no religion commits crime but ppl do - so stop this foolish bigotry.

And if you must know, United Nations (UNESCO) recently judged Islam as the most peaceful religion in the world.

Farouk is educated.

The people sponsoring Boko haram are educated.

Education is not the reason.

Not everybody in the south is educated, yet we dont seek blood.

Truth be told we need the Kaduna law in all the states where you don't make noise disturbing others all in the name of preaching. No speakers should be hung outside. Get permission to hold any rally. Shikena

If you were being disturbed during your jumaat service, why not complain to the church authorities first and if you're not satisfied report to the appropriate authorities before taking laws into your own hands?
You are right. Nobody shall take law into their hand. All the criminals that participated in that robbery shall traced and arrested. Bunch of fools tarnishing the image of our beloved Islam.

I am not surprised at the violent conduct of the foot Soldiers, they are acting out the script of most of their imams and leaders.
Imagine, the sultan publicly saying the only condition under which muslims are authorised to fight is when hindered from practising their religion.
The point is, this assertion alone is a tacit support to violence. And you see, acts that constitute "hindrance" wasn't spelt out, left to be determined by the naive and angered almajiris . What happened to reporting to appropriate security operatives? But, No! Fight...... Yet, all we hear is 'religion of....

THOUGH NO EXCUSE IS TENABLE FOR ATTACKING THE CHURCH, THE BEST COULD HAVE BEEN TO REPORT THE ISSUE TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENT TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER. AT THE SAME TIME, I WANT TO PLEASE ENJOINED ALL CHRISTIAN BODIES AND ORGANIZATION TO LEARN HOW TO RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES' RELIGION. THIS INCIDENCE COULD HAVE BEEN AVERTED IF THEY LOWER THE NOISE EMANATING FROM THEIR SPEAKERS AND MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. NIGERIANS AND THR MEDIA...is this not the same Nigeria 20yrs ago...how many churches were burnt den or destroyed. I dont get it...is it that the part of the Quran that preache this nature of violence just suddenly got released 10 yrs ago? So the only thing that can ever come out as news in islam is just violence...lol...we all have muslims and chirstens as friends or co workers or co students...we are all human beings with different behaviours attaching my personal action to judge my faith is highly misleading. And thats wat the media is doing. Channeling all violent related activites to one faith...i definately see a strong conscious attempt to create some religious crisis. And we all are foolishly helping to fuel it by not being objective in our reasoning

And the bastard said it's not religious extremism. What is it then? It's high time the Christians redefine tolerance. To start with, every Friday in Lafia is a "daymare" once it approaches 2.00pm. Rubbish!!

Catholic churches do not sing loudly compared to the Pentecostal ones. Even if they did, no one has the right to vandalize their property and inflict injury on them. Call their attention to the issue first. if they refuse to heed, report to the authorities chikena.

Niger State has a very large percentage of Christians and that is why you will always see their governor with a Christian deputy. I don't know why this should be happening in Niger, although you can see that the culprits are majorly from the core hausa north. Since it's like this, I will implore Christians to allow them have the afternoons on Fridays in the north while they can schedule any program for either early morning or late in the evenings on those Fridays. Let there be peace and tolerance. I strongly have this believe that the Christians can easily be pacified to tolerate the muslims! Let us continue to live in peace by tolerating our fellow brothers inadequacies!
