If you still have the stereotypical perception of all Nigerians being scammers then I suggest you discard the view now.
Providing a half-baked service isn't going to make anyone happy. Your service is analogous to one-way communication systems. We can pay, but we can't recieve. Hilarious!
We need to recieve funds in Nigeria too. We've had enough of this sterotypical bullshit. Goddammit! There are scammers in other countries too. Tighten your security or something. Don't deny us the basic essence of using a payment service.
If your inability to allow us recieve funds has to do with some unresolved economic partnership or registration of some sort (which I really don't know much about), then you need to get that sorted out.
There are a lot of Nigerians hoping to use their paypal account as a two-way payment system. No customer would be happy if your services are a representation of stereotypical judgement of who he/she is. As for me, I prefer a full-baked pie and would never take a half-baked one just for the sake having a pie.
Back in 2014 when I heard about PayPal Nigeria, I was so excited and pumped up to create an account. I was like "finally, someone listened." And then I found out we can only pay. And then I shook my head knowing they only listened to the part that made sense to them. I went back to my MC services unsatisfied and a bit angry with PayPal. Well I got used to the disappointment and really hoped I will never hear the name again.
Until today. I saw this petition. And I knew this could be the time to change something. A change that will allow Nigerians to recieve funds through PayPal or a change that changes nothing. If it turns out to be the former, I promise not to feel disappointed, I will just move on with life like nothing really happened. I will grab my MC card and smile. It's been a great bud over the years.
PayPal can either do something about this petition, or we can just sit here and watch as PayPal Nigeria rolls into Sahara desert.

Do we need to do this? Why not go for Skrill instead? Skrill is far better than PayPal. Skrill doesn't have any of the limitations imposed by PayPal. And Skrill works exactly like PayPal.

Well, I had to register for Skrill and I am not regretting it. Instead of receiving or making payment via PayPal, I now do it via Skrill and I'm loving it. No restrictions. No need to verify bank account or verify identity until you want to receive big money. If you only want to transfer or receive small money like me, just register an email account and that is all. Skrill is sweeter than PayPal. All people need is information about it.

I received funds from freelancer.com and from one of my clients in Pakistan without any hitch. I have a skrill account. What I am trying to find out is what will be the reaction of someone who hasn't heard of Skrill before when I recommend that they send me funds through skrill. My worry is that they might reject it because they have not heard of it. You get? I sell domain names most times and another thing is that Skrill does not have invoice option like paypal whereby you can send invoice to buyers and the pay the invoice.
