DropShot:PDP conducted the elections that eventually got them kicked out of power last year. How did the INEC do it? I think the last current INEC chairman needs some more lessons from his predecessor. There's no reason whatsoever why the INEC can't conclude LG elections on a time and save us this waste of very limited resources. |

dearpreye:The 2015 election could not have been rigged in the states where PDP lost it. And I am sure you know this fact. I hope you rember the professor from Uniport who said on national TV he had to write his result "under special condition" when he could not read his handwriting. That is how PDP had rigged many past elections. Trust me, if INEC must conclude all elections the day they're held, that prof's example will continue as we used to have it. |

jaybee3:Many things are wrong with your suggestion but it's not important to discuss those now. The emboldened, yes we have to try different things to get it right. But before we do that, I insist it's better to have an election declared inconclusive for obvious flaws than write the result in sitting rooms of politicians. |

DropShot:Even the ones lost by the PDP was written in your father's bedroom, look this man will defecate in a plastic bag and give you people and you will eat and tell us that his fecal matter is delicious and good for health, God punish all of you. |

DropShot:Your thoughts? *Laughs* Like I said I'd rather discuss how we end this trend. Either now or over time. That I'd not do on this thread 'cause it's not worth it. Seriously, just take a look at the topic |

DropShot:The INEC chairman should ask Jega to explain how he successfully conducted the past ele without any hitches. If this inconclusive nonsense persists to yhe next gener election then it will be yhe biggest threat to our democracy. Please close this thread and apologise for this Hocus-Pocus you brought here. Deapreye I'm disappointed in you seeing reason with this. There is nothing like near truth biko |

BlackSeptember:Having tried to educate to the fact that during Jega, results were written in living rooms of politicians, you still want Mahmood to toe the same line! Una be follow follow. Just because many are condemning "inconclusive elections" without offering alternative solutions, some of you are here talking trash. What should INEC have done where violence prevented elections from being held? Write result as they used to? |

DropShot:My point is this 1. Elections been inconclusive isn't a healthy way to run INEC cos of the kind of country we are in. The winner takes all kinda affair will definitely show in the results. 2. It is a show of incompetence by the police and other security apparatus in the place if an election is inconclusive due to electoral violence. WTF are they doing there ![]() 3. It shows the level of unpreparedness, laxity and incompetence of the INEC and its elecoral officers if logistics fail on that day. It is their job to plan and they are well funded for that. These are just a little of the points that abound. Then i have a question for you. If the present INEC is having a hard time conducting elections in just a state or senatorial zones as the case may be, what becomes our fate when they finally conduct the 2019 general election? Do you know the tension, bad blood, hate and possible civil unrest that would occur if peradventure the presidential election were declared inconclusive? How did Jega manage to conduct conclusive election? Our elders say a fish begins to rot from the head and its fast becoming clear that the inncompetence of d Bhari administration is already seeping through to all agencies and parastatals under it. Also if you claim all election results conducted by PDP were doctored, since they weren't declared inconclusive, then it would not be bad belonging to the school of thought which says Jega rigged the last election results for buhari; afterall we even saw the pictures and videos of under aged voters in the north. |
