Anyway, why must they call every gun totting criminal 'militants'? Part of our problem in this country is the media and their wishy washy, half baked journalism.

Gone are the days of Baguado Kaltho who were refined, hardcore investigative journalists.

Those people refered to as Militants in Ogun and Lagos are actually the ex OPC members who were forcefully thrown out of pipeline security jobs.

Sometimes I wonder how some yoruba people shift violence to other parts of the country even when it's happening in their lands.
I don't know how any sane person would think that Ijaw people or Igbo people will live and organise large scale crimes such as this in their backyard without their knowledge.

But one thing I have discovered about them is that they like to hide from blames

We talking a national issue and some 'educated' people who will claim they went to school will just sit, and scrutinise a post. Looking for names of people they can ascribe blame to some igbo some yoruba odas hausa, we are supposed to be problem solvers not creators
Honestly speaking I can't believe @this era, people are still paying homage to tribalism.
According to one philosopher"Education is not the knowledge of fact and figures, it's the ability of the mind to think "

This doesn't call for celebration from both sides. If actually the military conducted those strikes which I will never blame them though because their level of patience and tolerance has been over stretched. But this action instead of to serve as a deterrent to the militants will ultimately emboldened and spurred them into more vicious attacks.

The way forward? Let the govt continue to engage them in dialogue at least for now and found proactive ways to counter their threat using sophisticated intelligence gathering.Military action should be the last option.Am very confident that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. #LetsGivePeaceAChance.

Goood

Yoruba people and Yoruba Elders will not engage those who we know are inferior by all means in a war of words or reprisal attack

I said this several times , We fight our wars with logic , we prefer peace but when push comes to shove , we push the pushers off the legde

I will be mentioning some goats here , I hope they can come and tell me why their brothers did not bring out their surface to air missiles and their armor piercing AK 47 Rifles to stop Nigerian Armed forces

And as far as i am concerned , those living in Arepo are accomplices leave no house standing there, Put navy on all seas around Lagos

once we have the Ijaw miscreants and sympathizers cornered , Let's shell them out of this planet grin grin grin
hehehehehe I just d laf yorrubas n foolishness, for ya mind na igbos them kill abi? U no hear say d reporter no knw whether civilians too dey?. Ur hatred for a tribe will cost u blood n pain, keep it up. Mean while d military should keep bombarding d south west? Is it what u want?

Shifting goal post already? I thought you guys were hailing them before, now bullet don' dey romance your heroes, they now turned to former opc members? How do the Arabs carry out attacks in Europe? Its because they live among the europeans already, same way the militants live among the locals here. mother earth shake head for una.

My sister, that's the way we are seeing it o.. All Yoruba armed robbers and criminals have suddenly disappeared from Lagos and Ogun state.. Anybody that carries gun now is a militant, even pick pockets are also called militants. .

And You get to know all these because you reside in those communities right?

Tho the truth is bitter, but it must be told. See some of us have relatives in such communities and they confirm they are IJAW militants.

I don't know why you will be so quick to hold Fulani herdsmen responsible for any gun wielding attack in the middle belt and few parts of the east, yet you try as much as possible not to believe those amphibious gun wielding militants disturbing public peace in the south are IJAW militants. Even when the locals have confirmed them to be so.

Perhaps exOPC who lost pipeline security jobs have started speaking IJAW language now. Smh

Most people commenting here don't even know where arepo is. If you don't know, several Yoruba's are actively involved in oil vandalism there.. So keep on cheering but also take out time to go there and find out those that were actually killed, you will be amazed.

Which investigation should I believe? IPOB investigation from aba?

See, the people can't be toying with their lives by protecting those that are actually killing them, what will they gain by protecting those killing them and accusing the militants . Besides OPC don't do water stuff.. .they prefer charms

Sometimes you need to think

Here comes the loudmouthed tout called Zubby72, so you are hiding under a new ID to do tribalism. We know the region that blame everyone for there misfortune. You are from that place that blame Yoruba and North for all your problems, you can continue to attack the Yoruba forever, its your headache and life problem.

**** You believe that those clashing with farmers are Fulani herdsmen but don't believe that those wrecking havoc in Ogun state are Ijaw militants. What would people gain from lying about those causing them pain? Go out and there and teach us investigative journalism and stop yearning dust here when you don't have any proof.
