Let me share mine

It was back in 2014 during my youth service year in Ibadan. I was staying with a family.

On this fateful day I went to see a movie and I was gonna return home a bit late, around 9pm.

I text the wife to keep them abreast of my plan. Both husband and wife don't usually return back from work late, at most 7pm they are back except on few occasions and it was going to be either one of them not both.

During this period we also had a visitor, a lady who hardly went to church and so I wasn't sure of her devotion.

When I got back from my exciting movie,there was no light, every where was dark. I was expecting to meet the door locked from behind as always but it was opened I entered the house it was quiet, there was no one in the house. The idea of missing rapture started creeping into my head, I was scared! I started asking for forgiveness of sins, praying for a second chance, making deals and promises to God at the same time checking rooms.

I got to the room of our guest, I knocked she was inside with her child but that wasn't proof enough, what if she had missed rapture with me! I was waiting to hear people scream and wailing but the whole neighborhood was quiet, I was thinking was everyone in fear like me, too afraid to come out, I was too scared to call my parents, to call my hosts, I was almost in tears was pacing around the house, it felt like the end and this went on for like 15 minutes.

Then all of a sudden I heard a car pull up in the drive way, it was the family, they went out together to get somethings. I was relieved but fear was written all over my face, the wife noticed. I wasn't myself that night, I had a taste of what the end would be like.

Are there people on here with such experience? Let's share to encourage each other and remind each other that the end is near.

The door is always locked either from inside or outside, it's easy to say this if you haven't experienced this. Someone in church shared her experience of how she laid her clothe on the bed all straight like someone was wearing it and disappeared, the husband woke up scared.
