1.2 Billion In A Single Bullion Van Loaded 3 Planes Nigerians, Is That Possible? by BERNIMOORE(op):
An official of Diamond Bank(Alledgedly in a very Funny and Concorted RIBCRACKING story), One Damola Otuyalo,(no branch of bank attached) has Alledgedlytold officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that he personally handed over N1.2bn to a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, and his son, Gbolahan.

The entire exercise was said to have been captured on a Closed Circuit Television.

The bank official told investigators that on June 16, 2014, he received a call from the Head of Operations and Technology, Mr. Premier Oiwoh, to arrange N1.2bn and pay six beneficiaries.

He said he was asked to pay the following persons: Saturaki Bello N200m; Yusuf Bulama N120m; Chimenum Njoku N250m; Franklin Tolani N150m; Josiah Moses N280; and Abubakar Sadiq Zanna N200m.

Otuyalo, however, explained that he was unable to pay them the money and that his director then instructed him to move the N1.2bn to the private wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos on June 17.

“We moved the cash to the airport through the Cash-In-Transit vendor, Bankers Warehouse Limited. I contacted the vendor who made the bullion van available for movement. I personally supervised the loading of the money into the bullion van and escorted them to the airport.”

He said a few minutes later, Obanikoro’s son came to the main gate and asked the security to let the bullion van in(not several bullion van in)

Otuyalo told detectives that due to the large amount of money involved, it took them several hours to offload the cash unto the aeroplane.

He explained that it took three aeroplanes to carry all the money.
(however no single registration numbers of the plane could be mention! grin grin

“The operation took several hours because we got to the airport around 7am and left around 4pm. The cash was bagged in cash bags totalling about 65 and everything was offloaded from the bullion van(Not Vans) after which I reported to my boss, Mr. Oiwoh.”

Detectives told our correspondent that the N1.2bn was flown to Akure Airport and Obanikoro allegedly handed over the money to an associate of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Mr. Abiodun Agbele, who had since been detained by the EFCC.

He added that Officials of Zenith Bank arrived at the Akure Airport tarmac in a bullion van to convey all the cash to the bank’s vault located at 13, Alagbaka Estate, Akure.
When contacted, Head, Media Relations/Corporate Communications of Diamond Bank, Mr. Mike Omeife, told one of our correspondents that he could not confirm the report

OP I hope you know there are different sizes of planes and the size or types of the planes used wasn't stated, plus it was election time, did you expect them to carry 1000 naira notes?? undecided

Let's do some little maths ;
In a bundle of N1000 notes of 100pieces = N100,000;

Now to calculate the number of bundles in N1.2Billion: N1,200,000,000/N100,000 = 12,000 bundles.

Now, i assume you know what a bundle of 100 pieces of N1000 notes is like; Imagine what 12,000 bundles are like!

Just imagine if there are N500 notes or 200 or a combination of all three denominations.

Think, my friend, think.

An Afterthought, i think you are jittery at the Exegical Holes that this Concorted report leaves. if youneed lenses pls read again;

1, ''He(Damola Otuyalo) added that Officials of Zenith Bank arrived at the Akure Airport tarmac in a(single) bullion van to convey all the cash to the bank’s vault located at 13, Alagbaka Estate, Akure''.

2, ''Otuyalo told detectives that due to the large amount of money involved, it took them several hours to offload the cash unto the aeroplane.

3, He (otuyalo) explained that it took three aeroplanes to carry all the money.

Have you seen a bullion van an a plane before? Have you taken into consideration the weight of the money?
Re: 1.2 Billion In A Single Bullion Van Loaded 3 Planes Nigerians, Is That Possible? by GMBuhari: 9:40pm On Jul 31, 2016
IN Op's mind

They used a Boeing 676 to transport all the cash

when in reality they probably used a USED private jet that has weight limitations , even if i have not been on a private jet, i have seen movies where pilots throw stuffs off their single engine planes to prevent a crash , WEIGHT LIMIT is always a consideration and boy , does Naira have weight in Bundles ?

Yes it does

Re: 1.2 Billion In A Single Bullion Van Loaded 3 Planes Nigerians, Is That Possible? by chigoizie7(m): 10:38pm On Jul 31, 2016
I don't get it, It took them 7am-4pm to transload from bullion van to aircrafts.

How long it take them to load the money in the van considering that 7am is very early in the morning(lets just say they loaded @ night) who loaded the money? Who transloaded the cash?

Those people should be asked to mount the witness box ASAP.

What type of aircraft? Abi ee no get name? Who are the company operating the airliner?
Who was the pilot?

Normally, I am entitled for over 50kg on my trips and I weigh 71kg, that's like 121kg, multiply that with the number of passengers that are also entitled to such loads in a commercial aircraft of over 150 passengers.

Are they telling me that the aircraft can not convey the said cash from lagos to ekiti? But can run an international flight(more hours).

HOW?

How sure are u that the person he saw was actually obanikoro and his sons?

How could he hand in such amount of money to someone he doesn't even know?

How sure was he that the voice from the other end of the phone was actually his bosses voice(dont underestimate technology, ask those yahoo yahoo boys doing "dating",they will tell u better)

Was there any document or any form of identification signed by either obanikoro and sons to ascertain that they actually received such amount?

Have u ever made any withdrawals from any bank in naija without proper identification or various signatures?

Why is this one different considering the amount involved.?

I don't like these politicians, but don't just give a dog a bad name just to justify why u killed it.
