Yes u still have a lot of time, but if u have any concerns u really shld talk to ur dr and he wld send u for a scan if necessary.
My last scan was at 14weeks, but I've been asked to go for another this weekend (21 weeks), so I'll most likely use d opportunity to check d baby's sex.

I like your hubby's perspective.

Personally i like the surprise of not checking. It gives you the opportunity to buy unisex coloured items which another baby of a different sex can use.

White, yellows, green, orange and reds all the way.

No pink or blues with me.....
Because when you give birth most people will automatically buy you all he pink or blues you need.

As for shopping early, EDD does creep up on you. You dont want to be too heavy, tired, irritable and trying to do baby shopping roaming up and down while looking for decent place to use the loo every 30 mins..

You can start now but do your research, have a list and stick to it as best as you can, ticking stuff off over a few months. Baby shopping all in one go can be quite expensive leaving you with a huge dent in the pocket

I find it useful to have a list and have a budget / list review with Hubby and another sensible mama who has had a baby.

The reason being that with the hormones you cant think practically! You need someone to drag you back down to earth when you are considering buying a buggy with leather trim handles and chrome wheels. And also someone that will tell you what you REALLLLLY need, the basics that are essential and what you can wait to buy later if you feel you need it after baby has arrived.

Another tip with having a list is: if can also double as a gift list! You may have people who will ask what you want as opposed to buying clothes or other random stuff and it is nice to have a list you can give them and they can get you something from it.

It's not bad to know but he is your husband, he doesn't want you to find out so obey him. Check page 2004 for zay.nie's post on baby lists. Iomoge2 can help us repost the baby shopping list again whenever she is free

Buy unisex colours then so that baby will still look colourful no matter the sex

Happy new month mamas. Okay, I had not dropped a BS since I gave birth weeks bfor my EDD bt I feel I shud drop it cos it may be helpful to someone.

MY BIRTH STORY.

It all started on the 30th of May ( d day I clocked 30 weeks), I woke up arnd 2am to pee only to notice that d pee ddnt stop and sth ws flowing out like water even after wiping and wiping, then I realized it's my water leaking oooo. Immediately I tapped DH and tld him to see oooo. Arnd 6am we went to d private clinic I registered, I cudnt meet a gyn ws asked to cm bk by 9am, I cudnt wait oooo, we then went to d health centre I reg and I ws referred to a gen hospital. I ws admitted immediately, cerclage ws removed and I ws expected to fall in2 labour, labour did nt come, no contractions, no bleeding, nothing- nothing only that my water ws leaking. So the doctors started managing d pregnancy with bed-rest, drugs and injections until resident docs strike ejected us frm the hosp.
Few days later, I wnt to d private hosp for anc and tld my doc all that happened d past week. He tld me "hmmmmn, that I had mind to stay at home for some days after I ws snt home due to strike, that I shud go and join JTF to fight BH" LOL.
I ws told that I wud be admitted immediately and CS carried out cos my leading twin ws in distress and d water ws reducing (oligohydraminous) and my babies were at risk of infection. For my mind, I say what! I neva snap pre- baby pix oooooo.. Hahaha. I went home, rearraged my hosp bag, design my face with makeup, dragged dh to d studio and had some beautiful shots. LOL. We then drove frm d studio straight to hosp for admission (that ws arnd 9:45pm).

On the 16th of June 2016 around 11: am @31 weeks 4 days. I ws delivered of two baby angels (boys) 5 mins apart, weighing 1.5 and 1.6kg respectively. . Chei! My hrt melted. At our six wks doctor appointment, I was told my Bp was high 140/90 and was placed on Bp medication but since on Wednesday till now the headache has not subsided, rather its getting worst .
What can I do to relieve the headache aside the Bp drugs?

the problem.is when I visit the thread, I find out that I am like 20 pages behind, by the time I read the 20 pages, another 30 is eyeing me.for one corner. so. catching up has not been easy.

actually, I have some BP issues. Dr said it is pregnancy related so I have been placed on the meds. but it has improved sha.

everything will end in praises.

Capo mi, I dey o. What I'm experiencing nah supernatural weakness, if my younger brother wasn't with me I don't even know how I will be coping sef + I have lost my waist seems my baby is head down already. My step don change and my bump is the bump. We are 26 weeks + 2 days and 12 weeks away from November. Countdown to third trimester, it's been God all the way. Team November kwenu.
