Its not possible. NA is not that under-staffed. A major can't command a Brigade.

There are 3 brigades under the command of the 7th Infantry Division: 21st, 22nd and 23rd Brigades. I researched on their OCs, especially the 21st Brigade whose AOR is Maiduguri, all I saw was Brigadier Generals as OCs and another Brid. Gen as acting GOC.

U don't have any idea on the command style of Nigerian army, a major is a senior officer he capable of holding staff office appointment at his own level. U dint read wat I said about the major, I said he is acting brigade commander of brigade rear while d d brigade main is command by a brigade commander in there location in NE.

A Major is a commissioned officer, but a junior FIELD OFFICER. He can hold a staff appointment at his level, usually executive position in a battalion.

I know more than you can imagine on Nigerian military command structure and order of battle.
