It's time for another roll call. We thank God for bringing us this far in this amazing life changing journey. We should be in our 22nd, 21st, 20th and about 19th week now. I'm sure some of us have checked our baby's gender. Kindly mention me or answer present so your due date and gender can be updated. Pls do not let us stop praying for our teammates that have suffered a loss, we can say a prayer for them anytime we remember their monikers. That'll go a long way and we trust that God will surprise them soon and they will be back with testimonies.

I am lost for words. I encourage you to start praying for him, you don marry old school man like my ex husband that walked out cos I had recurrent miscarriages and no child then. Most times Na we women dey cause am, we dey marry without really knowing the man and him principles, history, family etc, having a real connection. Be strong, know that only the living can even desire a child. God will not leave u without help.

Good day mamas. Abeg make una help me torchlight this my matter. I went for ANC today and my doc has booked me for CS on thursday ( I will be 41weeks). I am keeping an open mind but the thing is that my mum is not too strong health wise at the moment and I have a 3year old son plus my husband to tend to and I don't have any help. I don't know what to do cos I was hoping they would let labour come on its but my doctor was saying she can't take any chances. I called my mum to let her know but she said I should hold on and not report at the hospital yet cos anything can still happen ( might fall into labour) I have been taking walks, kpekused, eaten pineapple from 37wks but still no show. Please forgive my ranting and plenty talk. I am just feeling a bit discouraged. A

when you say you don't want to go that Thursday that you will be 41weeks, when exactly do you want to go if labour doesn t come before the Thursday? Bear in mind that you can't risk staying for long again after 41weeks ooo before placenta begins to degenerate and becomes a problem to your baby o ooo....Your mum telling you to hold on for long after 41weeks , i hope she understands the implications tho...
My Dear, i think its time to face reality...make plans for assistance . Maybe a cousin from your side or DH side or close church member ...whatever . Talk to DH. You both should be involved in looking for the help. Walk in to the hospital and have your baby.....you want to avoid stories that touch ooo....

Wait a min Dear. Lemme understand you. You mean this is your baby no.2 right ? So DH is angry with you cos scan said it's a girl ?? If this is your 2nd pregnancy, how come he did not support you? Is it that you guys agreed to have only one child and he is now angry with you cos you broke the agreement? When you found out you were pregnant, did he ask you to abort it or something?
Sorry I have to ask these questions because answers to it will help you know how to go about it and brace your self up better.
My Dear. Be strong for your self oo. Remember, You are NOT responsible for determining your child's gender. It's the man that is responsible. I don't know if your hubby is aware of this.. You may need to let him understand this if you yourself understand this too..Maybe talk to him again. If he doesn t listen, talks to someone he respects and listens to.
Secondly, no child gender is BETTER than the other!! Children are a product of what you put in training them. The world has grown past that stage ooo....the prime minister of UK is a woman. US is about to have a woman as her president. I don't know if there is any man IN his right senses that would choose a 'tompolo or Asari Dokubo over an Okonjo Iweala ooo or a Kemi Adeosun ooo!!
Dangote has 3daughters only ooo...we would expect him to have a castle of sons as he even has enough to share to them all....
Thirdly, if this is your 2nd pregnancy, I think you people still have another opportunity to try for a boy(if having a boy is a do or die affair ). But you guys need to cooperate and work together to make that easier especially as he is the one to make it happen....let him know this !

Finally, if everything fails, brace up. You can do it !! Many women are raising their children alone successfully. ..
God will make a way for you....

May the Lord guide, direct and provide you with the Grace you require.
I would also advise to find somebody wise and supportive of you preferably in his family that he respects and confide in the person. You both need counselling, prayers and family planning as if he is unsupportive, you cant keep having children waiting for it to be a boy! where does one stop? 3rd child, 4th, 5th, 11th? In the search of a particular sex? In this economy?!


Pray FOR HIM, especially to know as a woman you have no contribution to determinimg the sex of the child. God gives and even though he wants one thing, God knows best! Pray for God to change his mindset and touch him, and remove stupid advisers from his vicinity. .because It is not easy to take care of a child alone oh!
Anyone trying to give him bad avice, should choke on their beer! .or the pepper in the nkwobi/ asun should hook in their throat if the advise will affect your family negatively.... by the time they finish coughing and looking for water they would have forgotting what they wanted to say!

FOR YOURSELF: As you need grace in abundance, because Pressure from both internal and external sources is nasty so please be careful and pray for strenght to resist bad advice from people which can easily lead to dabbling in diabolic and dubious practices to get a boy? Drink this? Baff with that, rub your tummy with this concotion or putt xyz in your nether regions, come and meet this baba! Na this mama dey do am, or this pastor or alfa! Children gotten through such means always spell disaster!!! So please fortify yourself with prayers. It is well by the God's grace.

If he's having the immunisation for meningitis, give him 2.5ml Of paracetamol at least an hour before he takes the immunisation. Subsequently doses is 4-6 hours c

This is what you need now. Go on and have your baby safe and sound. This is not the time to take care of your hubby and son. The reverse should be the case. Hubby should help out while you start looking for someone. Whether VBAC or CS, the post partum effects are almost the same. All the best and head to the hospital tomorrow *hugs*

madam, sometimes we women, mothers should not see ourselves as super women. we are human beings too. there are times we need to make selfish decisions. your health should be paramount. if you don't have good health, how will you take care of your loved ones?

. sweetheart, your husband and son will be fine. don't underestimate your husband, you will be surprised with what he will do during this period.

please don't risk your lives I mean you and your baby because of family members who could still take care of themselves.

God will make it easy for you....

@ ma'am Zaynie my colleague as per microbiologist concerned. I don't think air pockets are formed that way, d urinating can cause splashes which won't be high enough to land in d vagina if standing, you know d microorganisms need a suitable media to grow which d vagina provides. But poo can cause a strong enough splash to touch d privates. Eewww I would advise even if you put tissue don't seat coz d tissue sinks and splash can still occur.

sorry for what you are going thru. but it is a good thing that you are thinking of the worse case scenario of he abandoning his fatherly responsibilities.

you don't need to respond to this question though.

how financially capable are you to financially cater for your girls in the event your husband shuns his responsibilities?

in trying to make.your husband happy, don't put your health in jeopardy. start planning ahead. also don't fall pregnant again because you are looking for a boy because what if it turns out to be another girl?

in.all, there is nothing God can't do. but for now all prayers will be directed to you to have a successful delivery.
