I was arrested yesterday by the staff of F.R.S.C for using expired tyres and I am going ahead to seek redress for the following reasons: 1. The manufacturer wrote the manufacturing date on the product and didn't indicate the expiry date, if their claim is true, then it should be clearly stated on the product. 2. None of their penalty at the back of their paper indicate expired tyre, so the officer did not even tick any offence in what he gave to me. 3. For other commodities being consumed, the retailer is supposed to be arrested for selling expired product and not the consumer. Do we arrest the consumer of 5 Alive drink or the seller of the drink? 4. Is it compulsory all this people must arrest you for an offence? |
