Hello my people

Please is it okay to send me and my husband transcript with one DHL post or to separate it. Is from different school and we where able to collect it from the schools after they have sealed it. The courier service the school was going to use it will take forever for WES to get it.
Is cheaper if we send it together or what do you think.

As long as they dont have the same reference number. Remember you need to pay differently and get a ref number for each application to wes. The Ref number is what they use to distinguish and tie your sent docs to your application. At this point I must confess to you, its a daisy one. It is advised you send seperately my sister.

Thanks for this info.. X

greetings:

Quebec has changed rules, English speaking people can apply so long as you meet the minimum points which is 47 without spouse or 57 or so with spouse.

The only thing I have a reservation for is integration and jobs for English speaking people. Knowing fully the province is french oriented.

I'll post some links later.

Cheers.

P's, Nogen, i replied your email.

What is the probability that one's application will be successful after paying app fee of over 200k naira?

Oh yeah! Na waka sure pass, but I honestly would like to live there as long as I can get a job and integrate.

For people interested, I found some informations. I will break it down and Will post links, read up and let's discuss grey areas.
You don't need ECA OR IELTS to apply. As long as you can get points required without them.

First create a Mon quebec account (with a windows or MAC laptop),this should be done before 16th of august.
On 16th, by 8:30, enter your account and you will be placed in a virtual room.when it gets to your turn, you will have 10 minutes max to submit your application or your session will expire and you will need to go back and wait in line again.
You fill and submit the application, you can choose to pay with card or cheque or money order or something. If you chose cheque it must get to them within 30 days.
You application will only be processed when the money is received, after which a list of documents to send to them will be sent to your Mon quebec account.
You will have 90 days to get this documents to them.
(From what I gather, they want originals of your credentials, waec, BSC, MSC, work reference, birth certificates, passports or whatever they ask for in general)AM NOT SURE OH! Still researching. grin

Once they are okay with your documents, they return them and issue you a certificate of .... (CSQ sha angry )
This is when you will now apply with the Canadian government for PR. They ask you to do medicals and pcc and clear you.

VIOLA,! you become a legal immigrant.

I processed mine sometimes last year and it only took WES 10 working days to verify my transcript from OOU, considering the time frame I got the 2 mails. Try and verify if OOU non teaching staff are not on strike because it seems WES make use of email to communicate with OOU.

it is self explanatory. if you have a direct relative that is a PR or citizen and has lived in sask for over a year then you score additional 20points. then 5points if you schooled there and another 5 points if you have a job offer in sask. hope you're clear now.

hello House,

please did anyone have an idea of how long does this Quebec program takes.

It takes a long time. That's the problem. It varies from country to country too. To obtain a CSQ alone (this is like a You can apply thing), it takes 33 months for Nigeria.

Know the average processing times for an application for a Certificat de sélection du Québec
The time required to process applications varies according to a number of factors, including selection objectives by geographic pool and immigration category, volume of applications and international context.

These processing times apply to applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec only. They do not apply to permanent resident applications submitted to the Government of Canada.

Information on processing times is updated regularly.

Timeframes for the three steps required to process your application
After selecting the country or territory where you legally reside, you will see a table indicating the timeframe, in number of months, for each of the steps involved in the Ministère’s processing of your application:

Processing time of your application in three steps
After selecting the country or territory where you legally reside, you will see a table indicating the timeframe, in number of months, for each of the steps involved in the Ministère’s processing of your application:

Verification of documents submitted: The Ministère verifies if your application is complete, that is, if you have submitted all of the necessary documents in the required format. To find out about format requirements and the translation of the documents you must submit, see the page Document requirements and the List of authorities recognized for certifying documents. If your application is complete, a preliminary review will be conducted without any further notice. If your file is incomplete, it will be rejected and you will be informed.

Important: If you submitted your application online, do not send any documents until the Ministère has sent you a personalized list of documents necessary for the review of your application.

Preliminary review: If your application is complete, the Ministère conducts a preliminary review of your application based on the selection criteria in effect and informs you of the results and any additional steps that may be necessary.

Selection review: The Ministère completes the review of your application and renders a decision based on the selection criteria in effect. In some cases, this review may require an interview with an official from the Ministère. If this is the case, you will receive a notice of appointment from the Ministère.
Missions for selection interviews for skilled workers are held overseas on a regular basis. Consult the Schedule of selection missions, which is updated regularly.

I perused the Quebec skilled worker program (QSWP) thoroughly, even though it is quite encouraging to apply, it has some hefty drawbacks.

PROS
1. 5000 APPLICATIONS ARE EXPECTED
2. You can prepare your application on 'My Quebec project" now and submit by August 16th (1:30pm)
3. No federal LIMO POF required, just prove you have fund for first 3 months e.g CAD$5,004 for 3 family members
4. Each child gives you additional points (4) for the pre-qualification points.

CONS
1. More than 33 months (Nigerians) before your application is even reviewed
2. Its a first come, first serve basis, with non-refundable application fee of CAD$773 and CAD$166 for each of other dependants
3. All documents need to be verified/attested by issuing institution (certified true copy)
